"I have to read lips." Mistkit smiled only getting some of what he said.

Dawnclaw looked over at Mistkit. "Willowtail's sister was deaf. i think her name was Mint." she didnt tell her that Mint had died at the age of 4 moons from sickness.

"ya, but she was born with it." Mistkit sighed.

Dawnclaw licked both kits' foreheads. "dont worry. it'll be fine. you'll both make wonderful warriors."

Mistkit nodded as she looked around.

Dawnclaw sighed. "well, Willowtail was a wonderful warrior. all you got to do is mouth the words." she called after the kit. then she grabbed a mouse and went to the nursery herself.
