If he sends Michael here, he'll kill you, your mother, your father, and if your sister's home, her too. You have to let me go, Spade. Please." She had tears in her eyes, and she was speaking in a hurried whisper. "I can't lose you, too." She whimpered.

Megan closed her eyes and bit her lip. "I promise." She whispered. She was holding onto him as tightly as she could because she didn't want to let go.
Chris finally made it down the stairs, and grabbed Megan by the hair, yanking on it and pulling her out of Spade's arms. He opened the passenger door and shoved her inside, slamming it shut again, and getting into the driver's side.
