I read the books two years ago and loved it. When I found out it was becoming a movie I freaked. I got my pin, t-shirt, and other items ready. I'm dragging my friend to see it when it comes out at my home Friday.

Ok, so I went to the bookstore today. I immediately walked to the hunger games section and I saw a Peeta bookmark and a Peeta keychain. I reached for them and OMG you should have seen how much I was shaking I was like a maniacxD lol people were staring at me like, "what the heck girl?!"
But in the end I walked away with $40 of hunger games goodies not bad if I do say so myself:)

Just spent an hour on Youtube watching interviews and trailers. I listened to Safe and Sound for ages on repeat thinking about Rue and that,. and eventually I had to turn it off because I was nearly crying! c:

I've been thinking about this for a while,and was wondering if anybody else has gotten this idea..;
So Panem is the U.S in the future,with 13 Districs. They pretty much fought eachother.
Anyone else think of the Civil War?...Other than the fact that the Original 13 Colonies were not the only ones in the war{Atleast with my knowledge right now,they weren't}
Do you think Collins might have had this in her head while writing? Why else would there be 13 Districs? That is just a really random number to me. It does seem like a exelent idea to try and invole that into the writing.

LOL I saw it earlier today :3. Sometimes i would agree with the person and I would say- " YES, I totally agree!!!" Other times i would be like- "How could you say that about The Hunger Games?"
