FLy flattened her ears as she followed the mare and her foal. "I know where my parents are," she mumbled.
Byrd snorted and trotted to her daughter's side. "Thank you," she neighed to the mare, nipping Fly on the rump. "You shouldn't run away like that," she scolded.
Regard neighed to Fly "I would be terrified without my mother!" Regard looked up at Annie.
Annie smiled. She didn't want Regard to know that she had taken him in. She hated keeping the secret from him but she would learn to love him as her son.
