"Why won't you? You know yourself that you don't want to stay here. Don't you miss your mom and your home?" She asked him with a frown, her eyes going down to her hands. She knew she missed hers. She didn't want him to feel the same.

He shrugged. "I do but I know that you need me more then she does" he said looking st her dark eyes and smiling

Nicole didn't meet his eyes. His eyes were light and green, so happy looking and soft. Hers were dark and miserable. She looked angry all the time and she still felt guilty. She reached into her pocket and pulled out his cell phone, sliding it back to him.

He checked his messages and turned off the phone. He looked at her.

Nicole glanced up, her eyes meeting his. "Your eyes are green, so soft and happy looking." She murmured to him quietly. She wished she had green eyes, or blue. It would make her look more happy rather than dark. "I wish I had green eyes."

He smiled at her. " I like your brown eyes better. They look like chocolate" he said grinning at her.

Nicole cracked a small smile and looked away to try to hide it. "Well yours look like emeralds. So pretty and shiny." She mumbled, taking one of his hands and playing with it, lightly tracing each line with her finger.

He watched her as she played with his hand. He compared theirs. Her hands were slender and small while his were big. He had always had big hands even as a child. "well I like my eyes and your eyes" he said.

"Well I like..your face." She said with a quiet giggle, still not looking up. "And your sense of humor, and how you always try to cheer me up even when I don't want to be." Nicole mumbled, her smile growing a little bit. "And tickling me was cheating!"
