She flicked her black mane, her pretty and fine head tossing. Jumping up to her feet, she galloped away, trying to find a herd to call home.

Snowflake nuzzled her mother softly, seeing her gesture to lie down. She walked towards her, lying in the allocated spot and letting out a sigh. She was only young; less than a day old, so everything made her tired.

She thought Snowflakewas really cute, and smiled. "Soon you'll meet the rest of the herd." She said, as they were kind of hidden behind tall grass. With all that was going on, she didn't want her baby to be in trouble.

(Wait can infertile horses be in heat? *Puzzled*)
