Abbus Orphanage II - Operation: The Great Escape

"Alright," Skorn nodded, "Who told you to wait in the dining hall and about the gun shots that would come?"

Nell smirked, reaching out for the Xbox. "I was the one that got the information from my cousin. She texted me all the plans, which kept changing. And the one tat Evan just explained is the one we stuck with." She stated, her fingertips touching the box.

[fly away.]

"Her cousin is Ginger," Evan said, figuring that Skorn would want that information. He reached out for the metal box, figuring his board was in that.

"How does your cousin know Damion Rikaru Valor?" Skorn asked trying to figure out why Riku was involved with all of this. What would make him so interested in getting everyone out of the orphanage? Skorn thought for a bit, "Do you know if he had mentioned anything he was after?"

[fly away.]

Evan blinked, trying to remember, he glanced at Nell. Figuring this was a question for her. Because he had no idea.

Nell glanced at Evan. "Well, she never mentioned how she knew him, she just mentioned his name a few times. Soo, I don't really know." She explained, not looking at Skorn.

Skorn figured he could piece most of the plan together, he'd have to catch Ginger and get her to explain the missing parts. He looked a Lawrence who pulled out a piece of paper and a key out of his pocket offering it to Skorn. Skorn put the key and paper in front of Nell. He pulled out another piece of paper from his own inner jacket pocker and handed it to Lawrence, "Sign it."

Lawrence looked at the paper, then at Skorn, "No way."

"Lawrence, you said you'd do it," Skorn replied, "Just sign it you won't have to do anything else."

"Why can't you?"

"Because I work at the orphanage," Skorn replied, "Plus you're a lawyer no one is going to question your signature." Lawrence glared at Skorn but signed the paper. Skorn smirked and looked at Evan as he took the piece of paper back.

Nell pulled the Xbox toward her, then looked at the paper and key. "What is this?" She snapped, glaring at Skorn.

[fly away.]

Evan watched them, figuring the piece of paper was for him. He looked at Skorn, then back at Lawrence, wondering who the guy was, then back at Skorn. "That one for me?" He asked, his feet still kicked up on the table, his hands still placed behind his head, a smirk on his face.

"A key to a skating rink," Skorn replied, "The paper is a copy of the agreement made with that rink to let you in. The piece of paper Lawrence here just signed has made it so Evan is no longer an Orphan and thus doesn't need to go back to an orphanage. According to the law and our records now, Lawrence here is Evan's new father. Of course to use that means nothing, and you get nothing from it."
