Thread of time, last breath.
The last thread time of ticks move on, and so the last breath of the flower takes in the last bit of freedom scorn from its very heart. Yet it desires more. Time ticks on with no care to the last breath, and only mocks it as it clicks on with eyes of black orbless souls. Each sound another tick away. Last breath looks up at the clock before taking in another look at its flower growing nearby. It comes down as the clock begins to laugh with each countdown to its end. Last rushes in to cover the poor flower with air of its own, and so as the clock ticks on till its end its only our pick to let it be wasted or use it for life. -Myself

Still in her green cat like body, and her eyes of deep ocean blue she stared carefully at his body as though somehow she could figure out the problem to help him out. She watched carefully as his eyes reopened from maybe thinkign to a blazing red which feared her as if he was mad at her. It not was not the warm color she seen from him, but the red of fire that heated his core for flames. She easily jumped out of the way just in case he was going to fire at her. Though with her large body the size of a small car jumping and landing sounded a bit heavy, but easily her clasps on her tail and around one of her paws began to shine like a soft glow of a firefly. It was as if in this body everything was atune to her emotions as well her simple thoughts. Raptor? Not all it it was like trying to drive a car blind, but with this body easily going down to a normal size cat she knew this was like breathign which was born to be.
Once knowing she was safe as well as down to a normal cat size her slow ice near his feet began to melt by her stare on it to become just water that pulsed aroudn like a tiny lake bed. Her body green of fur with large ears came closer up to Alec with soft paw steps as if testing boiling water. She didn't knwo if he was still mad at her so she made careful steps to at least get close to him. Once a good amount of feet away where he could barely reach out arm's length to touch her she sat down her eyes glowing of sea blue stones as they glanced down at his curled up body. With a soft voice she meowed out his name, which turned out to only be a meow sound, but to her his name in her voice of sweet silk. "Alec?"

Hesitantly, his eyes slowly opened to look up towards the cat. They weren't his usual color still, and yet they also weren't the scarry red from earlier. Now their color was a simple dark green, almost black. Though his facial features gave away nothing, his eyes gave away it all. Pain, hurt, anger and worry all were displayed in the darkness of them.
He didn't say a word, didn't even get irrated by the cat and its strange powers. If it was still alive, fine. If it was gone, fine, at this point he really didn't care. His whole body ached, and he couldn't even see whether or not the girl that had managed to snag his interest was still alive. All he could do was lay there and hope that she was alright.
Alec softly closed his eyes against the tears that were threatening to spill. Even though he felt calm -way too calm at this point-, he was still having a pretty hard time of figuring this all out. Gently his eyes opened again, brimmed with tears that he wouldn't let fall. He softly tapped the ground with his fingers, trying to get the odd cat to come to him. A hand went out towards the cat, and he clicked his tongue. It would help if he knew it's name, but that would have to wait.
"Come 'ere, I promise I won't hurt you." Alec called out to it, voice soothing and trying to keep it calm. He wanted to hug something, even if it meant the giant cat that was now normal size and was also an odd shade of green/blue.

She sat there carefully noticing now how he was about to cry with the glassy eyes he own of emerald green or darkness black maybe. With a click of his tounge her ears perked up to him as well her eyes narrowed gently as if still nervous to what he might do, but her body rose up to give off a single sound of a bell from her clasps on her tail as well as one of her paw that even with its golden size never seemed to slip off. Her voice gave off another meow as her small paws of green came closer to him with almost slow steps showing she was still nervous and could bolt. Thouh hearing his voice it made her feel very calm knowing his voice was the same now as if he was maybe back to his old self a bit. Coming close to his hand she let her nose sniff it gently before her sandpaper like tounge ran against the tips of his fires to feel the soft heat coming from him like a fire. She head with her long ears bent back as her head rubbed gently against his palm before her body beginning to purr softly.
Even the golden clasps on her body began to glow like fireflies at her soft purr. Her eyes shined a nice soft sea blue as her head stopped rubbing against his hand to almost again take soft steps towards Alec with careful touches to make sure this was still safe ground. Her eyes watched him as her own small cat body came closer up to him before reaching the edge of his side where his head layed nearby. Her eyes blinked carefully as she moved closer to his side to jump onto his belly and curl up into a ball on his soft warmth. Of course she was acting like a cat, but as well it was nice to feel Alec so close to her again, and just his soft heartbeat in her ears. She again purred again a soft rumble in her green chest. Her tail flicked softly on his lower chest, and her head was facing his neck with a soft closing of her eyes as she layed there loving the feel of his fire on her fur as well as his closeness to her again.

"That a girl," He whispered softly, a delicate smile spreading across his face at her purring. When she landing on his torso he winced slightly, but didn't say anything about it incase it scared the cat away. Alec gently stroked her soft head, the smile still there but faded a little. It was so much like before, with Izzy and their closeness, that he almost didn't want to have to deal with it again. Looking at the little cat, he knew that their wasn't going to be a possible way for him to just ignore the animal. Who knew were it came from, or what it had to go back to.
Ruffling it's ears, Alec turned his head back to look towards the trees. Maybe there was a chance that Unknown had taken Lulu with him? His eyes widened a little, but other then that he was still sane. Why hadn't he thought of it before? The guy must have taken her, were else could she be? She hadn't tried to find him or call out to him, so she must have been taken again by Uknown. . .Right?
Gazing back to the green hued cat, Alec ran his hand down its spine, fingers gently slipping over the tail and its bangles. He tucked his index finger into the band around her neck, to the side of the bell, and sighed. "If only you could talk," Alec gave a lopsided smile to the cat, rubbing her beneath the chin. "Do you have a special spot that you like best?" He asked her, cocking his head slightly as he ran his hands over her soft fur.

Shooting a glare Jake's way, Shawn took the guy's hand and hauled himself to his feet. "Thanks," He muttered softly, eyes trained on the forest ahead of them. The only reason he was even going to help him was so that Grace would again be out of the labs. Why would this guy want to go back and help her out after he put her there in the first place though? Was this some sceme to get him to trust Jake, while the whole time he was only planning something bigger? Seemed likely enought to him.
Still, whether or not Jake was in on a bigger plan or not, it didn't excuse how they had treated each other earlier. "Look, I'm sorry for not knowing you had the best of intentions, but I wasn't really sure what you were doing with Grace. And I get that you were just trying to help her." Shawn started walking before the last words slipped from his mouth, not really caring what his reaction would be to his apology. He didn't like knowing he treated someone wrongly, even if it was someone like Jake that he had to point out his mistakes to.
Glancing around him, Shawn shoved his hands in his pockets, intent on getting back to her as quickly as possible. Was she still okay, or was she hurt even worse? Had the scientists done anything to her? Did she still know what happened? Was she even still alive? The thoughts swirled his mind, choking out all other thoughts except for Grace.

Still purring she felt his soft warm hand go down her spine where it pasted a small line of her water on her back, and as if burning to life when it came near it the water on her neck in a neckleace dots, and her shoulders as well on line on her back began to glow getting her to smile in a sort of feeling that surged though her body with delight. His hand gently went to her tail which ran over the golden clasps that where aroudn her skin like as if they where her skin there. With the now afternoon sunlight they each glowed a bit making them shine with the sun's rays on them. Then removing his hand he tucked a finger aroudn the small band of a bell around her neck which shaked softly at the sound of his touch. Her eyes once closed opened up to stare up at him with hopeful eyes of the sea.
Once he finished speaking his first sentence he gave her a lopsided grin rubbing her chin with almost a soft touch to her. Her eyes closed again easily rubbing against his finger tips with a soft of wanting more action her tail flicking fastly against his body as well as herself. When he spoted to run along her fur again she rolled out her chest soft green then the normal dark on her back. Her chest had tiny scruffs of green rolled up around her, and she meowed softly with her own soft smile she could give. With Lulu she finally found his weak spot. Animals, and mostly her cat form.

Alec chuckled at her purring, head falling back onto the ground as he gave a low laugh. It grew from the soft rumble to a more true, happy laugh. Laugh turning into a soft moan, he gave the cat a sad smile as he felt her tail flick rapidly across his lower torso. "Okay, calm down, that hurts." She was taking his mind of the pain, but with every swift twack of her tail the pain again was brought to mind.
Ignoring the feeling again, he gently flicked one of her ears, bending the tip slightly. Dimmly he wondered how long this cats claws were. "Down you go, just for a minute. Don't bite me," He whispered the last three words very softly while sliding his hands underneath her in order to pick the cat up. Fingers moving across the wetness on her back, Alec realized that their were marsh-like things along her sides that were like sponges when you poked them. A grin displayed on his face as he finally managed to pick her up.

Hearing his words of slight stiffing as well as his moan her tail which flicked rapidly she gently stopped it with a soft meow at him as now it only flicked at the end. She listened well. Flicking her ears by his hand her head lifted a bit wanting to be petted again, but he only spoke again asking her not to bite him very softly. She gulped softly not knowing how she might enjoy the feeling of begin lifted, but she only blinkd her eyes softly at him with a gentle flick of the end of her green tail. As if still nervous she felt his arms go under her to pick her up. Though when his hands touched the wet soft marsh like ridges on her back she softly purred again the feeling that went though her body almost making her go limp at the feel. She could not explain it. It was like all warmth of her heart bursted out to fill her body with love as well as something unknown to her. Her eyes flicked of the bright sea blue before turning to see a grin play on his face that even surpirsed her sence the last time she seen that was a long time ago, and even now she felt strange to be a human or become one. Was she starting to desire this form better? She couldn't know, but one thing was clear she couldn't as of now change back human yet, and with every moment it felt hard to remember she was still human. Still, she held okay in this form with tail flicking in the air below her and owning it with a soft meow again her head tilting as well to make her ears fold over.

Placing her on the ground next to him, he gave a half-smile again. He was going to try and sit up, painful as it would be. He let his hands slide across the dark ground, searching for anything that could help him pull himself into a sitting position. Finding only thick clumps of burnt grass, Alec desided that would have to do. First to sit, then to stand. Easy, He thread his fingers into the dead grass. Clenching his teeth, he sat up with minimal wincing, groaning, and very little swearing. When he finally got himself sitting up, all he could do was take deep breaths.
Alec gently tucked one arm around the most painful ribs, and clenched the other hand. Just breath, he told himself, mouth set in a tight line as he tried to get control of the pain again. Squeezing his eyes tightly shut for a second, he let out a deep breath of air through his nose before opening them again. They looked almost normal again, a soft grey with a tinge of blue around the Iris.
Blinking slowly, he tried to focus on the cat again, her marshiness, how her fur had a definite green tinge to it. His eyesight was a blurry and the pounding in his head made him want to sway with it. Snorting, Alec clenched his teeth to get himself to focus.

Once down her eyes blinked softly as she watched him get up with what she knew pain. It wasn't like he could avoid it though she wished for his sake he would rest then try to stand up. She knew it must be he was trying to look for her body that might be in the hands of Unknown, and for her Unknown had her power so she wanted to either change back or kill him for good. Her eyes grew dark for a moment to a dark sea her water on her back growing dark as if night was coming in. Then noticing his arm tucked under his ribs her eyes snapped back to normal to examine his body as he stood upright a bit swaying.
He looked like he might own a broken rib, but no bleeding. That was good. She could hear inside her ears the soft breaths of his lungs as he took in deep breaths to calm the raging pain, and wanting to at least incourage she came up to rub gently across his legs. She did that for a few times before resting to sit in front of him with a soft meow noticing his unfocused eyes already. "Come on Alec. Be tough like I know you are, and do this," she thought in her head with her tail flicking madly on the golden grass in her tails path to be flat after a while. [Wb sorry]
