The song boomed through Blakes ears. He hummed along to the chorus. This was how his old girlfriend, Brooklyn Jenny ((Just Realiesed yours was brooke.)) probably dealed with her problems.

He then wrote a song for his lovley Brooke.

BEFORE

Something inside me snaps in half, as they wheel him in, on the rickety old gurney. His face is covered with a damp cloth, dried blood caking the inner parts of his tall ears. My hands unwillingly cross my chest, as I watch them turn into the ER. The acidic smell of sanitizes, and cleansers, leaves me reeling as the two white swinging doors close slowly behind them.
I do not know the man they'd just brought in. But, every time my thought goes to him, of the rag that shield his face, something inside of my jumps high and hard, in the spot where my heart used to be.
I am nothing much at the moment. A helper, a welcoming committee.
A single junior in high school, hoping for a little extra community service to enhance her eligibility when it came to colleges, because certainly, I wasn't getting anywhere with my grades as they were.
It wasn't that I didn't try, or that I was stupid.
I wanted to learn, very badly actually. But when it came down to the projects, the notes, and the lessons, I found myself wrapped in other more important things; daydreams and my two part time jobs happened to be those things. Oh, and of course my sister, Lissa.

We weren't orphans by choice really, and as I write this, I guess we even really classified as "orphans." We still had our parents, but once they split, there just wasn't really much of a family left.
I was sixteen; Lissa seven. Our age difference came as a sort of barrier, between sisters, I was more like her mother. I chastened her when she was wrong or used offensive manners. Her clothes were cleaned and food prepared by my paws alone, no help from the sorry, shallow lump I used to call a mother.
She's only good for paying our bills at the moment, but she can't even get that right. Her office is paying her while she's on leave of absence due to her "injury," which really isn't the broken tailbone, as she so claimed, but really just a bruised hip, from when I'd kinda, accidentally-on purpose nudged her with the vacuum last Saturday, when she refused to listen to me about getting a third job, which then caused her to topple over into the kitchen counter, and bruise her hip which she claims is now broken. So in a way, she was more like another child than an actual mother; I work she stays at home and plays online, and pretends to be young and beautiful as she searches for guys on Match.com.

I wasn't a romantic, but apparently somehow love found me, standing out there of the ER, hands pressed to my chest, head bowed in prayer. I wasn't sure who this man even was, but I could feel our connection. Now I just would have to find out if it was one-sided.

Santana woke up knowing what day it was.

A sad feeling filled her heart as she rolled out of bed and walked to where her calendar was tacked to the wall. Yes, she had been right.

The cheerleader quickly showered and changed out of her pajamas into a simple white cotton dress. Simplicity was what mattered today; nothing extravagant or complicated. She packed a small bag before heading downstairs.

"Mami, you know what today is right?" she asked her mother, who smiled sadly at her.

"Yes, I do and I can guess where you're headed off to. Please give her my love."

Santana nodded and kissed her mother softly on the cheek before grabbing her car keys and walking out the door. Once in the car, it was almost as if she didn't need to think; she subconsciously knew where she was going.

Santana listened to the radio in silence as she drove with the windows down, wind gently blowing in her face, causing her hair to fly in all directions. She took deep breaths of the fresh air, mentally preparing herself for all the emotions the day would bring.

Once she had parked her car, the cheerleader took her bag from the backseat and quietly knocked on the small house's front door.

"Ah, Santana. I was wondering when we'd be seeing you. Please, come in."

"Thanks, Mrs. Fabray." Santana said, hugging the older woman. "How's she doing?"

Judy Fabray sighed wearily, running her long fingers through her blonde hair that was so like her daughter's. "She's…well, you know. Why don't you take your things upstairs? She's in her room."

Santana nodded, knowing there weren't really words to describe the moment. She walked up the stairs and quietly opened the door at the end of the hall. Sure enough, there she was.

Quinn sat on the floor, hugging her knees to her chest, tears pouring silently down her face. She held a picture in front of her and gazed at it while she cried.

Santana's heart broke as she walked over to Quinn's side and sat down beside her. Without saying anything, she gently took the picture from Quinn's hand and placed it on the floor next to them. Slipping her arms around Quinn's thin waist, she pulled the blonde onto her lap and Quinn collapsed into her arms, burying her face into Santana's neck and sobbing.

Santana stroked Quinn's hair with one hand and with the other; she took Quinn's hand in her own and interlaced their fingers in a rare show of affection.

They sat together like that for nearly 30 minutes before Quinn managed to calm down and reduce her tears. Santana's brown eyes met Quinn's hazel ones as she offered her a small smile. Quinn lifted her hand and brushed a random strand of brunette hair from Santana's face. She leaned forward, closing her eyes and touching Santana's forehead with her own.

"You remembered."

Santana breathed in deeply, inhaling Quinn's sweet scent. "How could I forget, Q?" she asked softly. "I know how much we've been fighting lately, but I woke up today and couldn't imagine not coming over to see you. I needed to make sue you were okay. I know I haven't been a very good friend—"

Quinn lifted a finger to Santana's lips, cutting her off. "You're the best." she said, and Santana saw nothing but love and forgiveness in Quinn's eyes. "Best friends fight. Nothing will change how much I love you. You remembered, and that's all that matters."

Santana watched as Quinn's eyes filled with tears and felt her own eyes begin to well up.

"Best friends forever." she whispered. Glancing at the picture on the floor, she suddenly remembered her bag. "Q, I almost forgot, I brought you something."

Santana rummaged around in her bag for a few brief moments before her fingers hit their mark. She heard Quinn gasp as she carefully lifted out her own picture of Quinn sleeping in the hospital, holding a tiny baby girl in her arms.

"S, where did you get that?" Quinn choked out through her tears.

Santana smiled. "I took it the day after she was born. Puck snuck me into your room when the nurses weren't looking and made sure I got a picture before leaving."

She gently placed the picture next to the sonogram Quinn had been looking at earlier. The two girls sat next to each other, gazing down at the pictures.

"Happy birthday, Beth."

I dont have a full out story, just the basics.

So Blake and Lel are together, very happily, and have been for a long time. Nothing can seperate their love.
Longordo is Blakes best friend and they have known each other since they were small pups. Their parents were the best of friends growing up as well, so their families do everything together. They grew up together. Blake goes to Longordo for everything, advice, help atc.
Over the past few months Longordo's feelings towards Blake have been growing stronger. At first he thought it was just him being a lonely guy crushing on a pretty girl and that it would go away. But when it didnt and kept getting stronger, he knew his true feelings for her. But he knows that he can never be with her, and will only be seen as her best friend, and love him only as a brother.
