I don't know if it's just me, but in my opinion.. *prepares bomb shelter* I think that
it's great that people are creating characters to donate, but in all honesty, doesn't
that kinda defeat the purpose? You're creating characters to give up.. when what I
thought it was, was that you cannot take care of one particular character and have
to give it up. It pains me to see all these new designs and people going for them when
older kennels who has been in the kennels for months haven't even been looked at
while the newly made designed characters get most of the attention and get adopted.

Interesting that you bring this up, Soteria. I like to think of Symphony as a collaboration for the two causes. I like to think that the SCAA can be used for donating recycled, meaningful, important characters that you used to use and love, as well as used for donating the characters that were created with muse or for fun, but have no where else to go. Personally, while I've donated more recycled characters than anything, I have donated characters that fit in to both of these categories, but I did take all that you said into consideration. I have looked through the kennels again, and I do like 38, 137, 170, and 171, some of our "older" designs. I think that out of those, I'll at least go for 137 next round. c: Thanks for the inspiration to go back through the kennels.

Personally, every time I look through the kennels, I spend an equal amount of time on each, no matter how long they've been there, trying to see if there is any click. Usually there isn't though ^-^' I'm not a very clicky person, but when I do click I try pretty hard for those characters XD

I love the older characters personally, some of the ones I adopted had gone through at least one code drop with no new owners. I may sometimes go for a newer donation if I fall in love with it but i find the older characters click better with me.
