Megan shifted nervously. "I've had to cook my own dinner since I was eleven. It just takes practice." She assured the woman, grabbing three plates and setting them on the table, sitting down and patting the seat next to her while looking at Spade. "I hope it turned out okay." She said.

Allie smiled. "I would go anywhere with you jasper." she said with a smile. "We need to get my bike before he decides to trash it."

"great"he said smiling"we can go there and get it right now"he offered smiling so much he felt like his face was going to split

Megan flinched at Spade's father's voice. I'm going have to get used to that, or they might ask questions. She thought to herself. "I hope you don't mind." She said, looking at him, watching his every move. Her father made her do this... Made her so untrusting.

Allie smiled and teleported back. She tossed jasper his helment, glad she had left the bike outside instead of parking it in the garage. She put her helment on the got on the bike, quickly starting it and waiting for jasper.

Allie was about to leave when she remembered something. She took off her helment and handed it to jasper. "Hold on, I'll be right back." she said. Then she teleported into her room. She grabbed her backpack and put her cell phone in it. She pulled a little box out from under her bed where a kitten was sleeping. She picked up and carefully put her in the bag. She put the bag over her shoulder and teleported back to the bike.

Megan scooted over a seat and leaned up against Spade as she took a bite of her macaroni. She chewed and swallowed, then looked at Spade. "Nile? Is that your sister's name?" She asked quietly, looking at the empty chair beside her.
