The Fight for Danmoru (Semi-Lit, Accepting)

Lucas followed Aisha over to the log and sat down, watching as others started to come into the clearing. He wasnt suprised to hear he looked like his grandfather, he had heard it his entire life. In some ways it was fortunite. For those who had known him, like Orieus, and those who atleast knew what he had looked like, it was easier to convince them of who he was. He didnt know what to expect from this ceremony, and as more centaurs began to gather, he was getting curious. He smiled politely as the young one, Aisha called her Kitka, came over, and then turned his attention to Orieus as he began to speak, but his stomach did a little flip when he was asked to stand. He didnt hesitate, however, and rose to his feet in one fluid motion, dipping his head in respect to all of them.

[Aniki]

“Lady Aisha, it is now your turn to speak,” Orieus nodded to the female witch. Standing up gracefully Aisha made her way to the platform.
“It is well to see all of you yet again,” Aisha was nervous. Tonight, with Lucas’s help of course, she was going to ask the Centaurs to help fight with them.

Lucas watched Aisha closely, ready to follow her lead. She knew more about the centaurs than he did, and was not about to pretend to know what he was doing. Lucas was not the type to turn away help when it was needed. He glanced around at all of the centaurs one more time, and wondered what they thought of him. His family had been thought dead only yesterday.

[Aniki]

“We all hate living in fear, being trapped in our own homes on our own land. It is time to end this! Prince Lucas has returned to claim his rightful throne & I plan on joining him in battle. We come here to ask for your support, whether that be by fighting or healing. Centaurs once walked the hall of the Royal Court. You were trusted advisors, friends, and family. But under this bastard’s rule you have to hide. Why? You are stronger, wiser, and pure. Help us take back what is rightfully ours!” Aisha’s voice was filled with power as she spoke to the Centaurs. A few shook their heads, but most were cheering her on.

Orieus joined her on the platform. “My people, I have given Lady Aisha and Prince Lucas my word that I would fight and guide them. I shall not force this upon anyone of you. What we are asking will put yourself in danger, this is true, but we live our lives in a dangerous world. Now let me ask you all this: Are you with us?”

A loud roar went through the crowd as Centaurs cheered.

((What should I have Lucas do with this? If you kinda give me a direction I'll try and get things flowing a bit more...))

As they spoke Lucas stepped up as well. "I grew up with my grandfather telling me stories of the centaurs and the great things they did for the kingdom and people of Danmoru. The treatment and crimes commited against you for the past 100 years sickens me, and I swear on my grave I will change it. Whether you decide to help in this reballion in any way or not, I promise to you all that centaurs will rise and be part of the courts again, and walk freely through the Kingdom of Danmoru." Speaking was not one of Lucas's strong suits, but what he had said came from the heart. "This is not simply a matter of gaining the throne. This is to right all of the wrongs committed to all of the people and inhabitants of Danmoru over the past 100 years."

As the Moon started to leave it's position in the sky, the Centaurs began to leave. Many stopped by to say goodbye to Lucas and Aisha. Orieus was the last to go. "I shall send word by the morning." And with that he too was gone, leaving Aisha and Lucas alone.

Turning to face the prince, Aisha smiled, "That went smoother than I thought..."
