Goldstar realized the urgency among his cats. Cloudfoot couldn't have been right... "Take your kit to your den." he spat harshly. "I'll deal with you later."

Viperstrike bounded over to Midnightcloud. and stood near to her; looking from the other she cat to her leader, her head whipping from side to side.

[puffins]

Midnightcloud ran to Cloudfoot, fear in her eyes.

Goldstar turned to Viperstrike. "It will be fine. Just stay in the nursery."

When the queen was our of earshot, Goldstar ran up to Honeypelt. "What kind of trouble do we have?"

[autumn ;;]

"I love you." Tigerfang said into Daisypelt's ear. "You are my mate.."

Lostpaw walked from the stream and said, "What the fox-dung is there so many dark figures?"

Cloudfoot huddled closer to Midnighcloud. A round tear glistened in his deep blue eyes. He was shivering slightly. "Everything will be alright, you'll see." Cloudfoot whispered in a wavering voice.

Hiddenpath padded over to Goldstar and mewed

"Is there anything I can do to help, Goldstar?"

[puffins]

Honeypelt stated, "There have been a pack of unrecognizable animals apparently, and they killed Moonflight, we can't find Shimmerpaw but she was harmed and Daisypelt was severely injured."

Midnightcloud looked at him and whispered, "Why does everyone hate you and me? Raymond, Goldstar, why?"

Tigerfang sighed and asked, "Where is Goldstar?"

"I'm not sure what the problem is yet." Goldstar admitted, peering closer at the shadowy figures on the horizon.
All of a sudden, their shapes became more defined. A stampede or badgers, possibly 15 or so, was coming thundering closer. Feet thumping, saliva dripping, noses scenting, they badgers covered amazing ground. "Protect the nursery!" Goldstar yelled in a frightened manner.
