Guys, I'm leaving and won't finish my story... If anyone wants to pick it up and finish it, feel free

I sat in a dusty corner of the shop, surrounded by others like me. The season had passed and we were now hidden in the corner, waiting for next Valentine's Day.
Until she came.
She came in to the little ornament shop and examined the resin instruments, the china ballerinas, the glass swans. None of them caught her eye.
Then she glanced towards the back and grinned. Making her way through piles of clutter, she gently pulled me from the shelf and dusted off the cobweb clinging to my tiny wings. "Perfect," she whispered.
She bought me, placed me gently in a cardboard box. I felt movement, a terrible bumping and shuddering that almost cracked me, then a roar as some engine came to life.
After what seemed like an eternity the roar settled to silence. For a moment everything was still, then there was a brief feeling of being lifted and carried. I heard the click of a lock, and I was set down on a surface.
Light entered my box as the girl opened it. She lifted me out and placed me on a shelf, then went about collecting materials. An envelope, parchment, various heart-shaped sweets. She pulled out a pen and wrote on the parchment, then folded it and placed it in the white envelope. Then she proceeded to pack me back in the box, surrounding me with sweets and placing the letter under my hoof.
Once again the lid was closed and darkness surrounded me.

Weirdo, stupid, gayboy, freak.

Those all-too-familiar insults rang fresh in Inna's ears as he ran home from the prison adults call school. His school bag banged painfully against his legs-it was an old-fashioned brown leather satchel, the kind you see in photos of your parents and grandparents. His shoes had been made out of the same tough, brown leather, and we're uncomfortably large. As he ran, the rain seeped down his bare legs and his shoes squeaked in protest. The jeers were louder, and Inna realised with a sigh that they were catching up.

Mousie, come on mousie! We've got some cheese...We can hear you squeaking, you know. Doesn't it hurt your big, mousie ears?

The comment about his ears made Inna run faster, spurred on by the hot tears springing unbidden to his eyes. He wiped them away impatiently, sniffing. No time for that now. He could hear their well-made, expensive trsiners slapping the wet tarmac. Turning the corner, he skidded in a puddle and almost fell over, before groaning inwardly as he was met with a blank, red brick wall. Dead end. He ran to the end and kicked it, hard. The pain, coupled with the fact that he was crying openly now, wanted to make Inna curl up and die. At least he'd escape the pain. They were coming closer. The wall stared back at him, blank and challenging. He would not be defeated by a wall.
Thinking quickly, and ignoring the pain in his foot, Inna put his other foot against the wall, before hoisting himself up, his shins and knees scraping painfully against the rough brickwork. The jeers and turned to cheers-they had seen him. Inna looked up. What he saw made his heart drop through his feet and onto the street below.
Barbed wire, stretched and coiled all the way across the top. How had he not seen it before? Cursing silently, he trembled and was caught, for a few seconds, between two choices: keep climbing and escape the boys, for a while, or climb down and run. Chancing a look down, he saw to his horror that the gang had closed in on him, and were trying to grab his shoes, like a pack of wild dogs. Suddenly, Inna felt disgusted. Reaching down to grab his left shoe, he flung it at the boy in front with all the strength he could muster. It was a wrong move; the group increased their efforts and often Inna had to physically swing out of harms way.

'Pssst.'

Hearing a noise, he looked up. He gasped. There, silhouetted in the light of the dying sun, was a girl, a teenager, with black spiker hair and a short-sleeved jacket. She had flowers in her hair, and so much eyeliner it was hard to tell where her hair began and eyes ended.
'Well, come on! Or, unless you want those boys to eat you?' She contemplated on this for a second, tilting slightly. Then she grinned. 'Nah! Up you come. Nice friends, by the way,' she added as she hauled Inna up onto the wall, guiding him around the barbed wire coils.

The story, where a guy almost brought two BFFs from Pre-K apart.

"I HATE YOU BRIANNA!" I screamed at my former best friend. "YOU KNEW I LOVED HIM AND YOU JUST IGNORED ME!" I shouted into the microphone. I decided to sing my song.

The story starts when it was hot and it was summer and,
I had it all, I had him right there where i wanted him.
She came along got him alone and lets here the applause,
She took him faster than you could say "Sabotage".
I never saw it coming wouldn't have suspected it,
I underestimated just who I was dealing with.
She had to know the pain was beating on me like a drum,
She underestimated just who she was stealing from.
Shes not a saint, and shes not what you think, shes an actress,
WOAHHHH
Shes better kno- AHHHH!"

Before I knew it, Davin was about to ponce on me.

And then she was in the hospital.

Her paws scraped the soft earth as Callia trotted over to the large pack of male pups, grinning the whole way. "Callia, where are you going," Came a squeaky, panting voice from behind. Callia glanced over her shoulder at Krist and laughed. "You'll see!"
Krist collapsed on the ground, not used to all of the running. Her pants came out sound like little wheezes; her voice was unusually high-pitched and squeaky.
Callia closed her eyes and let the wind whip her face, only blinking when a dead leaf fluttered onto her nose. Crick, snap, crick. She loved the sound of crinkling leaves underneath her paws. She opened her eyes and giggled when she approached the boys. From behind, Krist had finally almost caught up with her, only a few paces away. Immediately, another dog caught her eye. His coat was a chestnut-beige colour, surprisingly contrasting from his bright, yellow eyes. Krist let out a little sound that almost resembled a cat's purr.
"Look at him," She murmured to Callia. Callia only blinked in response, not sure how to reply. She really didn't get the whole boy thing.
"Look at me," Callia said a little bit louder, grinning from ear to ear. She hopped into the little group of males, ready to make her plan into action. Her stomach growled in response.
All of the little dogs looked at her, wondering why a girl would come into their game of dares.
"I bet anyone that I can climb that tree!" Callia exclaimed, her bright eyes gleaming as she gazed up at the oak tree. It was adorned with oranges and yellow leaves, fluttering past her like a butterfly.
"Ciel and I bet you your snack that you can't," A bold little black pup declared proudly. Ciel, the chestnut dog, shot him a look but was silent.
"Just wait and see."
Callia, without hesitant, trotted over to the tree and followed the trunk with her eyes up to the top. Suddenly she wasn't so confident.
But she didn't back down. She hopped onto the trunk and tried to scrape her way to the next branch, failing for anything she could grasp onto. Finally, her claws wrapped around a thin branch, threatening to snap off. As quickly as she could, Callia hopped off of it her barely caught onto the next, studier one. The thin branch came hurtling down and hit the ground, the boys yelped in surprise and swiftly backed away from the tree. Ciel gazed up at her in worry, even though he would easily be able to reach her. Just in case, he quickly made a little emergency pile of sticks.
Callia was almost there. Just a paw's length away from an extra treat. Confidently, she smacked her paw against the next branch, lifting all of her weight from the branch below. Her strength had failed her. Squeaking, she came tumbling down onto the previous branch, just clawing it in order to keep herself from falling. Ciel let out a little gasped and rushed over to his stick pile. Crunching through the twigs, he had made it to her level. Her abnormally long tail almost smacked him in panic.
"Help," She choked, her yellow eyes getting bigger and bigger as she slowly lost her grasp. Ciel nudged her bottom up, pushing with all of his might. Callia regained her stableness and swiftly climbed onto the highest branch. She beamed with proud as the dogs below yelped. Hopping down a little too fast, Callia hardly noticed the worried look on Krist's face and she nearly fell into Ciel. Laughing, Callia said, "Thank you!" to Ciel.
"What's your name," Ciel asked. Giggling, she told him as Krist walked over to them, a little jealous of Ciel's affection for Callia. Krist shook her head and told herself it was nothing.
"I'm Krist!" She exclaimed a little too loudly to Ciel. Ciel nodded to her in respect.
"You don't have to give me your snack," Callia quickly commented to Ciel, flushing a bit. Ciel licked her cheek and Krist almost growled. Callia thought nothing of it.
"It was nice you meet you!" Ciel exclaimed as Callia and Krist trotted off to get their snack.
Krist half-scowled at Callia, who was oblivious to it, caught up in her thoughts.
He will be mine.

Okay, so there's something I have to say here. This isn't directed at any one person in particular, I just really need to get this off of my chest.
If you don't want to read this you don't have to.
Guys, you don't have to quote your stories. So what if they don't get any comments. YOU SHOULDN'T WRITE FOR OTHERS. Write for yourself. Write what you want to. Don't think of others, okay, just do it. If you want to post it here, that's good, but no one is obligated to give you praise. Nor will they ever be.
What's the better option, having no one comment the first time or reposting and having someone comment out of pity? Just let it go. Keep writing the story. Now, if someone comments, that's great! They like it! Cool! Good! Thank them, whatever, keep going, whatever you like. But just because you get a taste of praise doesn't mean you should CRAVE it. Stop reposting your stories- I automatically skip it if it's a repost- that shows that you're writing for compliments and those stories never have heart in them, never have soul.
One last thing: you don't have to ask "should i continue?" or "more?" or "did you like it?" You /shouldn't/ feel the need to continue a story just because someone said so. If you like what you've put into the story, then continue! And just because no one commented doesn't mean that no one read it. Your stories aren't going unnoticed, trust me, there are many avid readers of this thread. Continue whether someone says you should or not!
To reiterate: write for yourself, not for compliments.
