Art/story of OOC: Chika was starving - she hadn't eaten anything since since she had run away. She had lost track of the days now, how long had she been in the forest? Four days, a week maybe? The days had seemed long and she was tired and her fur was matted with leaves and burrs. Her owner had been a horrible man who used to make money from making her perform tricks for an audience. He didn't feed her often enough and mistreated her and she soon became weak and unable to continue. This made the man angry and he beat her with a stick. As soon as she had the chance she ran away into the forest, in search of a better life. Now she didn't even know if she would make it out of the forest, but atleast she was far away from that horrible human. Eventually, Chika stumpled out of the forest, into a suburban backyard. She sighed with relief as she fell into a heap, exhausted from the painstaiking journey. For the fist time in a long time, she was happy.
