[Complicated game]

Clare was nervously glancing from one side of the street to the other. She ran her finger down the side of the tarnished gold chain around her neck as she pointed her light to the left side of the street, deciding to walk on that side at last, using the overgrown hedge for cover, cursing herself silently for wearing her clunky leather boots that were too big for her feet.

Jay came closer towards the house the humans were at. That last girl had nice blood, a little stale though. It left him wanting more. It left him wanting one of the humans who would be paralyzed in fear by him. Not seemingly happy. He ran his tongue over his fangs, his eyes narrowing to hide the hungry red they became.

I walked up beside jay and layed my hand on his shoulder " Jay... What are you doing?? " I asked casually but with my brown eyes flashing orange and back.

Daxter Ruehey
I walked up the downtown streets with my hands in my pockets and my gaurd up when I noticed a frightened girl on the other side so I ported behind her, " Are you okay miss? Have you lost your way? " I asked shifting myself to look like an average teen guy with green eyes.

Jay jumped a little when he felt Alania put her hand on his shoulder. "I'm trying to find food that's going to scream in terror. You wouldn't believe it. I found a girl who wanted me to eat her. I swear they think we're going to start sparkling next." He grumbled, crossing his arms.

Clare's breathing became shaky when someone, a teenaged boy it seemed, appeared beside her. She learned the hard way though her sister to be careful around everyone. She examined him, her silver eyes glancing up and down. "I'm fine." She breathed. "Thank you sir. I'm just headed to gather blankets for the new refugees." She kept walking, knowing she couldn't run in her boots.

I sighed and clenched his shoulder with my claws " Do you have to drink human blood?? Cattle blood is alot better, and the cows flip when you bite them " I smirked trying to get him to leave the humans alone.

Daxter Ruehey
" If you dont mind me asking, what refugees? I didn't hear of any disasters that occured " I asked intrested

Jay snorted in amusement. "Oh but it's fun to watch them squirm." He said in a mock whiny voice. He didn't seem phased by her nails in his shoulder, and simply lifted her hand off of it. "How on earth can you drink animal blood? It's like water and wine. Two completely different things."

Clare became more wary of the boy. "The refugees hiding from the vampires. Many of them are like me. Lost family members or left out of being cowardly." She opened the door to an old building and finding the blankets there, she picked up a stack. "I lost my sister when a vampire." She shuddered. She didn't look back to the boy as she did her work.

" It nurishes me and I dont have to watch someone suffer.. also cows have bigger hearts and that means more blood without killing it. " I said.

Daxter Ruehey
" Oh, yea.. I uhh should've known that... " I smirked " Do you need help carrying those? " I asked looking at the blankets.

[Complicated game]

Jay snorted again. "Humanitarian." He said, playfully shouldering Alania. "I just take a little. Maybe half a quart or something..." He leaned on a building. "I only feed on humans every three days." He added.

Clare shook her head. "No thank you sir. I'm fine." She looked at her clunky boots. If this was a vampire, it would be by his mercy if she got home. She would have to shake him first in case he was in fact a vampire.

" Thats not as bad as I thought... " I sighed " Fine... but belive me if I hear that you kill a human I'll rip your fangs out. " I said seriously but then lightened up into a joke.

Dexter Huehey
" Okay, well I guess i'll see you sometime else? " I said as I walked away.

Jay put a hand on top of Alania's head. "No worries. I haven't killed a human ever. I don't plan on starting now." He assured her with a small grin. "Out of curiosity, when was the last time you drank from a human?" He asked.

Clare paused, daring to look at the boy one more time. Something compelled her to walk towards him. "Well if you tell me your name I'll tell you when I'll be back?" She asked, hugging the blankets to her body.
