Sierra breathed out and looked at Eon. "I'm not just hungry, I'm pregnant..." Sierra said and then ate more elk. The warm, juicy slices of the meat slid down her dry throat.

Eon's eyes shone, "Thats great!" He wagged his tail, happily. "When are they due?" He licked between her eyes.

Cherry's jaw clenched, pups! How dare she have pups! Cherry hated Sierra, so baddly she wanted to rip Sierra to shreads.

Sierra smiled. She was so happy that Eon was excited. She licked between his eyes back and shrugged a little. "It's fall. The snow will begin to fall in a few weeks. They should be born around December, and it's October. Sierra's eyes shined brightly.

(Sierra and Eon had a little love night, and now Sierra is pregnant. Her pups are due in late December or Early January. Now, Eon and Sierra are excited and in Sierra's den.)

Sierra looked at her belly. It was bumpy with little puppies, and she knew that there might be a few. She looked at the dead elk that Eon had dropped in and smiled. "Thank you," she said licking his cheek and then hugged him tight. She was so happy that she would soon be a mother.

EOn wispered in Sierra's ear, "You know they will have the slightest bit of dog in them right?" His voice serious.

Sierra smiled. "And that's what makes them special. I don't care what other species you are. I love you because you're you," Sierra wagged her tail, tears started to well in her eyes, but she pushed them down. "So what's that breed of dog you are," Sierra whispered.

Eon shrugged, "I don't know I think Husky, but I don't remamber to be honest..." Eon smiled wide, "I hope the pups look like you."

Sierra blushed a little bit. "You're so sweet," Sierra said and felt her stomach. "It feels about 4-5 in there," Sierra estimated, but she knew she would never be sure.

Eon looked surprized, but he never knew how many pups could be born, he was born with only one other pup who he had forgotten about. He looked out side and saw Cherry watching, she looked mad, "I'm going to go check on Cherry if thats ok... I'll be right out side if you need me." He walked over to Cherry, "Whats up?"

"What's up! I'll tell you whats up! She took you away from me, your best friend! And Now pups?!" Cherry voice was raised. She was ready to fight too.
