Well, me too, compared to the battles and wild running. But it's the only movie where my sister does not scream when a kiss is coming up.

i don't like romance at all, but Aragorn/Arwen is one I really like... but I also enjoyed the one in potc, but i can't stand such love storys like in twilight... too kitschy for me.

Yeah. I like the Arwen+Aragorn thing, but I like the rest of the movie better
... my dad revealed to me that he thinks LotR is stupid. I left the room in disgust

That's why I would never show LotR to my parents... they have no sense for fantasy, and for me, it's the best genre ever. A friend of mine thinks LotR is totally boring (and she thinks Legolas is gay), well, I avoid to speak with her about this topic. And if we speak about LotR anyhow, it's like "LotR is soo boring" - "Twilight is more boring" - "NOOO Twilight is cool" and again and again... for about... 10 minutes. ^^ Well, I love LotR and I will always do, no matter what others think. And besides, there are other people sharing my obsession for LotR.

My dad is the opposite! He actually pestered me for years to read the books and watch the movie, and now that I have that`s all he wants to talk about! XD He owns just about every book/movie guide/audiobook/movie in existence. He just bombed me with a loooooong speech about the Silmarillion in the car. Ahhh, I really do love my family! XD

No one in my family appreciates LotR. I had to make my sister sign a contract saying she would watch the movies but then Netflix deleted the Fellowship!

I do like romance and Aragorn/Arwen but also the Eowyn/Faramir thing in the Special Extended Edition (S.E.E.)
and in the S.E.E. when poor Eomer is weeping over Eowyn who he thinks is dead I just want hug him

oh, eowyn and faramir were cute. but i think it was a bit mean from aragorn that he told eowyn so late that he doesn't love her, just because he knew that eowyn was in love with him. Men.

I loved the Eowyn/Faramir story, but I wish they did more about it in the movies. It seemed more romantic in the books.

My mom and dad like LOTR, but I was the one that kept relentlessly asking if we could watch it... Now my two siblings and I are LOTR nurds. When I talk to people about LOTR, they usually say
"I haven't seen it.."
"One does not simply walk into Mordor."
OR
"What is LOTR?"

The last one usually makes me cry.
