Rancor gave a small nod, wondering if he had interpreted the Drillbur correctly. He was, though he would not openly admit it, touched that this stranger pokemon would be concerned about his condition. Not even his old trainer had cared very much, proposing battle after battle despite his state of health. But, he thought defensively, he only did it because he knew it would strengthen me. . .
The rain was a steady downpour, now. He briefly questioned if the Drillbur minded it; being out in the open in a storm. Why hadn't this fellow found a burrow? They were both being soaked, but at least the rain did not cling to his scales -- he didn't have fur. He extended his wings slowly as a gust of wind from behind him sent rain pelting them both from behind.

Rising onto my feet, I was left with nothing to
do but accept these inexplicable truths as my last source of comfort.

I wasn't dead. At least, I didn't think so. I don't remember how I got here, or why I came. I could possibly be dreaming, I suppose; that would explain the terribly strange occurrences that haunt every footstep taken in this place. The land itself is disorienting; the scents are dull and I'm beginning to forget things, like my name.
Rylan.
I hadn't lost it yet, the way I have already lost myself, and I can't seem to find a way home. Home. I need to go back, but somehow the task seems impossible. I don't even know which way to walk. I'm tired. And alone. And wet.
But I'm not afraid.

The Drillbur shook his head. He didn't mind the rain. It was better than the sun beating down on you when you already have a layer of fur covering your body. He looked up at the Charizard and touched his claws together; the closest he could get to crossing his arms due to how short they were.

A grunt of understanding escaped his jaws, and he blinked rainwater out of his eyes. He had never really 'talked' with a wild pokemon this long, before. It was always battles. But somehow, he couldn't attack this seemingly kindly fellow, nor would have wanted to. The familiar feeling of aggression was absent in this confrontation.
His thoughts were jumbled as a crack of lightening lit up the sky; the sound was like ripping paper, and then, a horribly loud BOOM. For a second a startled expression crossed his face, illuminated by the light. He quickly recovered, becoming once again curious, yet solemn. Had the lightening touched down? There was no way of knowing, yet -- but for a wild pokemon, there was comfort that any sane trainer would not be out in this weather.
This was somewhat disappointing to Rancor.
His gaze fell down upon the Drillbur again, and wondered what his name was, of if he had one. Perhaps he was just "Drillbur" like many other wild pokemon of his kind. A name, sometimes, was the mark of having being captured.

The Drillbur looked up. His mouth made the word 'Mogurew', and he tilted his head the other way, curious of the Charizard's name. The lightning was ignored, at least until a tree crashed.

Mogurew, he thought. At least, he was pretty sure that was it. It was a name that, given the vocal limitations of a Charizard, he might have been able to pronounce. Much like his own name.
"Ran-cor," he attempted to growl. Like his own species, he was able to say "Charizard" and other shortened versions of the name, quite clearly. His 'pet' name was almost similar, and hence, it gave him an ability to say it. He wouldn't have been able to mouth it like Morugrew had, given his rigid, dragon jaw set.
He heard the squealing of ancient bark as a tree crashed to the floor -- his scales prickled tentatively. Perhaps the lightening had felled a tree - if that was the case, a part of the forest would catch fire in a matter of minutes. If they had been close to a pond, perhaps water pokemon would aid them, but not many lived among the trees.
He was reminded of the flame on his own tail.

Titani finnaly woke from her thoughts...she had forgetten when she had even got lost i nthem. She sighed and laid down, and fell asleep, and began to dream...
Titani woke. It was a beautifull day, and everything seemed...right. She jumped off her branch. She trotted through the forest, saying Hello to everyone who passed.
But in the bushes awaited a trainer. A Wartortle aided him. When she passed, they striked.
The trianer shouted, "Let's get 'em with a Water Tail, Submarine!" Titani let out a yelp as "Submarine" attacked her, making her fall to the ground. Staggering up, she charged a Flame Wheel. But then again-- "Again, With Surf!"
Titani's eyes widened when the massive wave clenched her, soaked her, drowned her...
A strange, unusually powerful purple poke-ball sealed her in.

She woke, a human wrapping her leg in gauze. She was still tired, and her eyes were not exactly closed. Her eyes opened some more and she looked around. Her eyes widened, seeing the trainer. "I don't need to heal Submarine--He's strong and donesn't NEED ANY HELP!!" The trainer argued with a nurse, and Titani looked back up at the one attending to her.
Titani shot a fireball to the attendant. She screamed, and Titani jumped from the table. She burned everything--the PC, the Pokeball-thing, and just about everything. She darted out of the doors, and ran, and didn't stop untill the burning Poke-Center was barey visable. She heard screams, and most of the people ran out. She also heard agonizing yelps from the humans, that where probibly in the fire...

Titani's eyes opened. She coughed, spitting a little fire. She took a deep breath, throwing the dream away. Or atleast trying to.

((Look for PokeMon, I guess? XD))

Nyan had ate enough berries to heal himself, and had eventually found Titani once again due to her blue color that was ever-so-obvious against the green of his forest. He had a paw on her.

He blinked and tilted his head in question. He leaned his head down and whispered in a gentle voice, Are you okay? You were thrashing about like a maniac..

Mogurew gasped at the tree and turned to run. He looked back at the Charizard, attempting to tell him to follow the small mole-like PokeMon.

Rancor's scarlet eyes widened as smoke began to curl its way through the forest, floating under his nose. . . It was not dense, and barely visible; but nonetheless, he knew all the wild pokemon could smell it. And, if you listened carefully, you could here the crackling of singed bark though the pounding of the rain.
Rancor dipped his head, setting down onto all fours and taking a step towards the urgent Mogurew. He folded his wings carefully, and quickly. "Char!" He tossed his head, motioning forward. He threw a glance over his shoulder. Yes, certainly, it was unmistakable, now. This part of the forest would likely catch fire very soon, even in the presence of this rain.

((I kind of think of Rancor as kind of like a carnivorous dinosaur in his build; I don't really like the stubby, cylindrical legs of Charizards. Hence his ability to move like one. :) ))

((Aah. Well, that's fine. XD))

Mogurew turned and ran towards a den, checking back now and then to make sure Rancor was following close behind.
