Halle started walking towards her bike, which was her main form of transportation. She hadn't noticed Jason as she walked, and she got out a book from her bag. Just as she was about to get to her bike, the bully of the school, KJ Marks, stepped in front of her and sneered. Halle's eyes rose to meet his and she watched him, unintimidated.

Jason straightened up, puffing out a cloud of smoke and watching them closely.

KJ chuckled darkly. "Hey hottie," he greeted, and Halle rolled her eyes, trying to push past him. However, he was fairly big and strong, so he blocked her way. "I don't think so," KJ said, watching her greedily.
Halle sighed. "KJ, get your butt out of my way."
KJ smirked and laughed, then suddenly took her by the shoulders and kissed her forcefully.
Halle squirmed in disgust, trying to push him away.

Jason instantly barreled forward, tackling KJ to the ground and pinning him underneath his own body. Jason sent a punch into KJ's face, knocking a tooth out of Kj's mouth.

KJ fell to the ground with a grunt and released Halle in shock. She scrambled to her feet, trying to get the disgusting taste from her lips.

Before KJ could do anything, Jason battered his face with heavy punches.

Before this could get any worse, a teacher ran up and pulled Jason away from KJ. KJ's face was bloody, and he was missing a tooth. Halle shuddered as he passed her, limping away to the nurse's office. When he was gone, she fixed her gaze on Jason. "Thank you so much," she breathed.

Jason nodded, standing up. He was breathing heavily. His lip had a stream of trickling blood and he had a black eye.

Even now, a tiny smile cracked out across her lips as she looked at him. For a moment, she was silent, but then she said, "You look kinda like Rocky Balboa." A soft chuckle made its way past her lips, and she gently took his arm. "C'mon, let's get you cleaned up."

Jason smiled and followed her. "I try." He chuckled.
