Viperpaw stalked around camp, then spotted her fellow apprentice, Flickerpaw. She instantly crouched down, then wiggled her hips and pounced on the tom with an easy grace, giggling playfully. "Hello there, Flicker!" She purred to him as she pinned the cat to the ground, "How ya doin'?"

Viper burst into laughter, almost falling off of the tom below her. "How interesting, I quite enjoy it. Ya know, being in power and all." She replied in a playful, joking tone.

She sat down next to him. "What's up?" she said, half-hoping he wouldn't answer in reply: "Nothin much, what's up for you?" It was one of her crazy smart comebacks: "The sky." Then she would feel that urge tugging at her pelt to turn into a bird and fly, fly, so high . . .She loved that feeling . . .Suddenly she felt herself drifting away. She shook herself and hissed. She saw Flickerpaw staring at her curiously and looked away guiltily. This could harm my Clan, their world, if I did that in battle when cats need me. She forced a smile at him. She spotted his mentor and buckled back. "Heh. Sorry. Just..." She crept off silent to look for herbs.
