I am so annoyed at people that think that their valentines day pets are worth WAY more than they are.

I think it's new pet excitement combined with the fact they'll only be available for a week, plus possibly thinking ahead to months later when they, may be more valuable. And stuff like Piggy Madness that makes people OMGWANTITNOWZWERS.

On a lighter note, I've gotten some good, serious offers of wl pets lately, and swapping for V-Day pets I missed is going well.

Come next Valentine's Day, a white guinea could be worth a Rare, but an orange and white one could be worth an Uncommon. D:

It does get annoying when people want uncommon early '09 pets for them though.

I want to say it again. Because even though I might well now be officially branded a broken record, I feel the boiling urge to shout this to the world:

An "Unknown"-rarity pet is NOT worth a rare! *fumes* When the end of the month comes and the pet has its brand-new rarity, I will THEN trade a rare for it, PROVIDED it's actually RARE!

The problem, I am beginning to think, does not lie solely with those who believe new pets are worth way more than they are. What's fueling the fire is experienced traders that encourage them by offering rares to begin with! The only conclusion I can come to is that said people don't want to spend any time at all actually finding a fair trade, so they throw a bunch of rares in the middle of the trade forum to attract the birdies, and ZZZZZZIP! there goes sensible trading, right out the door.
