[Oh! That's right JersyDusk! Sorry, Echopaw is with Icetalon and Bandedowl on the hunting patrol. Right now their off looking for Wildblaze so he can join them in fishing down at the river, but along the way they picked up a strong blood scent and they're following that. Do you need a bigger re-cap than that or do you have it covered?]

The silver tabby she-cat trodded after the two warriors. She was silent and didn't really look like she cared but if one was to look at her eyes, they would see it. Echopaw was just fizzing with excitment, she felt as if this was the one thing she wanted to do everyday. I can't wait to be a warrior! she thought happily. Bandedowl and Icetalon looked so strong and smart. She just couldn't wait to be like them. Silver ears perked, Echopaw stayed alert as she followed the trail.

Wildblaze

Wildblaze nodded and looked up into te tree to see what she had been talking about. He leapt down from his gnarled perch and padded beneath where she hung limply from the tree. Did she really want him to just... cut her loose? Wildblaze knew if he did, she'd fall hard. The loner wasn't even that far from the ground, but she was hanging from a rather precarious position, and was already severely injured. He didn't think she'd survive the fall.

"Errr, are you sure you want me to cut you loose?" He asked awkwardly. There didn't seem to be any way she could get herself out, and she'd either die there or fall eventually. Perhaps letting her fall was the last resort. Wildblaze wrinkled his nose, waiting for the she-cat's response.

VIVACE | Loner | Female

Vivace bit her lip, looking up as far as she could and seeing the ground beneath her head. It was only a few feet down... It wasn't that far.
"Yes." She spoke clearly and decisively. "It'll be fine." Swallowing hard she stared at the forest floor, ready to meet it with an abrasive hug.
At that moment the limb let out a creaking moan, the very ends which where resting in the mud sunk down into the earth, yawning as they settled. A tight jerk brought the branch down a half-inch, and sent a numbing pain shooting through every inch of Vivace's body, she clenched her teeth and suppressed a muffled shout of agony, squeezing her eyes tightly shut. The loner tossed Wildblaze a pleading look, urging him to hurry and cut it loose before the branch wedged it's self between trunk and earth, never to move again.
Her heartbeat drummed loudly in her ears, and she opened her eyes wide, her pupils dilating. Thump thump- thump thump... Thump thump- thump thump... Thump thump-thump thump... Four times. One two- three four... One two- three four... Her head spun with sudden shock and fear. She dismissed the noise immediately, forcing herself to forget as the pain in her head sharpened, she felt as if it were going to burst.

Silvertail glared at them and hissed, "These twolegs are fine. I've watched them before, they never try to harm me. The one there," She pointed towards a medium sized female with black hair and glasses. "She can't hear and she can barely speak. They use signals with their paws to communicate. That one," She pointed towards the stocky, tall, black haired male twoleg who seemed to be still very young. "Is her son. He's very nice despite his large size. The last one," She nodded to a tall red head with glasses. "She's their kin, but they aren't always together. As you can see I have learned quite a bit about them. If you four could actually be patient you might learn a thing or two." She muttered quietly under her breath.

Brightspots trotted over to a group of cats sitting nearby. "Hello!" she mewed happily, would you like to go hunting?"

Thornkit smiled before she slunk after him, her light brown eyes bright with excitement. She chased after Bloodpaw's tail out of camp. Her eyes grew round like an owl's as she stared around herself in awe and shock. "This place is wonderful!" She murmured softly.

Shrewpaw wasn't sure what to make of this talkative cat. Feeling slightly overwhelmed by the questions and not really sure what to do, the grey tom sat on his haunches slightly confused. He grinned mentally as he brought himself to his full height, and lashed his tail. This'll be fun! he thought gleefully. "Well now, wild cats you say? You mean the ones that eat bones and housecats for breakfast? Well there are a few of them out here, alright." He mewed and nodded solemly. "Oh yes, they live here alright kittypet. They're dangerous cats, with claws that could claw trees to pieces, and fangs that could snap through bone itself. A cat like you wouldn't want to be stuck here."

Ajax

From what Ajax heard from this cat, the loner came to the realization that the cat probably knew more about the forest cats then he did. Heck, not even the wisest cat in the town knew a lot about the cats! If this stranger cat said so much about the cats, then he ought to believe him. But he couldn't act scared in front of a stranger? Couldn't he?

"How do you know so much about the wild cats?" Ajax's voice cracked and sounded more like a squeak than anything. His attempt at sounding brave came crashing down on himself.

(Also, I'm thinking about making three new characters, maybe, that are linked in with Darkwing and possibly even Ajax.)
