Sorry that I sweared, but I blocked it out.
I hate seeing wolves near extinction; Its just terrible! Like....Really?! There super pretty, graceful, creatures. There fur is to keep them warm, NOT FOR PEOPLE TO HANG THEM IN THERE HOUSES!
Wolf fur is so soft, though. o3o
Admittedly, I have a grey wolf pelt scrap. So? That doesn't mean I'm a horrible person who hates wolves.
To get this over with and hopeully hold back any more ignorant comments;;
I support regulated, humane hunting. There’s nothing wrong with it, whether you like it or not.
You don’t have to like and/or support hunting, but hating or ‘disliking’ [people say ‘dislike’ as an excuse not to use the word hate, they pretty much mean the same thing.] hunters isn’t the right or mature way to handle things.
Hunters aren’t bad people.
And if hunting makes you a bad person, than wolves are all bad. They hunt. [Before you jump on me about ‘oh, thy do it to survive!’ google surplus killing.]
Humans hunt species that aren’t endangered, and wolves do the same, so saying hunting is terrible really makes no sense. Wolves hunt, too.
Now, the hunting of endangered wolf species, I definitely do not support. People who hunt protected/endangered species [or people who hunt out of season] are poachers, not hunters.
Again, hunters are not bad people. Most people mistake hunters for poachers, but they are not the same thing. Do not oppose something you know nothing of.
And dire wolves went extinct because of evolution, mind you. Not hunters.
Here-
The Dire Wolf skeleton is more stout than that of the Gray Wolf, suggesting an adaptation for power rather than speed. Most of its prey species were rather sedentary herbivorous animals that were not able to run very fast to escape predation. Scientists suspect that once those relatively slow-moving prey animals became extinct, the Dire Wolf may not have been able to hunt and capture swifter prey in order to survive.
