"Well, they wont." The wolf appeared from behind the den.
Gats stared at the two emotionlessly "I will kill each and every one of them before they get in to far." Anger swoop his face. "I will not allow them to get to Insomnia."
He paused for a moment. "Anyway, if we attack on their turf, they will have all of their lab equiptment and chemicals and who knows what they could use to take us all down in one shot."
His face lightened as his words gave out his anger. He looked at Insomnia. "I want to help in any way I can. After all, I am a beta, Insomnia." He took a single step inside the den. "Im sure Murcury wants to help as well."

Meanwhile, Murcury awoke in the night, sweat drenched her fur. Her stomach felt as if she would tear open. Her leg and other metallic accessories ached as they began to sop in the sweat.
"Smith?" She said with a shakey voice in all seriousness. "Wake up."

Insomnia laughed. "Thank you, Gats. But I'm not allowed to physically take part in this. I only plan." her face fell for a moment, and she tried to make it happy again, failing slightly.

"well I suppose my opinion no longer matters." Aspen stated bluntly, rising to his feet slowly before heading towards the mouth of the den. "I mean after all, who listens to the guy with the most experience?" that was sarcasm, and it came flooding into his voice.

She snorteed loudly, scoffing at him.

"Aspen, we can do this!" Gats nearly yelled. "You must have faith in us if you want us to do the same for you."
He looked at Insomnia and almost, in a way, felt her pain. He wasnt allowed to fight either, for he was also a beta. Oh, he wanted revenge, but he knew she wanted it more.

She put a paw to his shoulder. "Gats, it's alright. If I was caught.....I would be a terrible liability. They have my bracelet."

Smith inastantly shut his eyes open."What?" He asked and looked at Murcury's serious face in the faint light from the moon outside."What is it?" He then corrected himself with a kind voice. She looked sweaty and he woundered if she'd been dreaming a nightmare.

Gats looked at the floor, then at Aspen. He knew she was right, but he wouldnt be able to live if she got hurt because he didnt protect her. "What are we going to do, Alpha?"

Murcury howled quietly. She breathed the thick humid air deeply. "P... pups..." was all she could say.

Insomnia composed herself once again. "I've already had everything set. The traps are ready. The wolves lnow what they are to do." she suddenly became very professional, emotionless.

"yes? But you did that without consulting me." Aspen growled. "That's why we have warriors, so they can barrel in and take them by force. That's why we have stealthy hunters so they can easily sneak in and kill. that's why we have healers here to save the wounded. We are a system. It should work like a system. Like clock work."
