Jay ran about with the other kids' on the block. Then, they led him to Anna's house. He knew they always had a hate for her. He hadn't a clue why. He followed, tensing a bit. They banged on her door. Anna's mother came, looking stressed. She pulled her hair back from her for head, and sighed
"What would you young men like?" Axel, then head of the bunch grinned and shown his nasty teeth . "We wanna talk to Anna." Her mother was glancing from him to me.
I knew what would come next. I had just become part of the 'cool' kids' group. Yup. On my ninth birthday. So now, I guess I had to choose.

Her mother politley let them in, and the thundered through the house, up to her room. I followed quietly, avoiding eye contact with her mother. She had gone back to a dark room. When I reached her room, I saw her looking down at the floor. She was sitting on the chair I had gotten her for her 6th birthday. I was happy about that, to know she liked it. But then, that happy feeling went away. The guys taunted her, mocked her, called her curses, said she'd go to the under world when she died. Said she was a good-for nothing 'girl'. But she continued to stare.
Once she looked up, it was only to me. Her eyes seemed normal to the normal person, but i could read her like a book. They pleaded. they were confused.
They said, Why, why would you let them do this to me, Jay?. One of the guys pushed me up to her. i stumbled forwards. "Go on, Jay. Say a few choice words..." Axel laughed. I begun to shake. But shook it off. "Y-yea, your just a lame girl....I bet that your dad left you and your mom, cause of you!" the others howled with laughter. Something in my gut told me that Anna and my friend ship was over
