Aspy puppy<3 the name is just too cute :3 and ohh boy...here comes trouble!]
Aspen had been dreaming, and it had been a nightmare at that If you had caught a glimpse of him as he slept. Fur bristled up, muscles tensed, quick beating of the heart and staggering breaths....night sweats. It was all a part of the territory, though this dream was worse then anything he had experienced of late.
-It was cold, the wind sliced through the trees like daggers, ripping vines, whole branches off in its wake. The powerful boom and flash of lightning and thunder rung about the sky with a new-found intensity. The creatures of the night slinking away into the shadows, beady eyes watching skillfully from there.
Out of the corner a Sound of anguish came calling through the throat of a beast, blood oozing from deadly wounds....the final breaths seeping from it before coming still.
The scene changes now, to a plain white room, whose walls are almost blindingly bright, the shiny tile below only adding to the affect. Footfall echoing not too far off outside of the room. Turning the corner you could hear more clearly the whimpers...the cries from the wolves corralled behind silver bars. One was hastily grabbed and dragged past only giving enough time to recognize the face as mercury's before she's tugged off into another room, the door shutting swiftly behind. Attention then turns to a snarl that had erupted a door down. Inside you could see him, covered in blood, teeth wide and nashing at the hands that tried to claim him. Dog tags clanking against his chest as he menuvered on the table in order to fight back. The sight itself was gruesome and appalling but before the wolf was taken down, the scene shifted again.
A tanish wolf, shimmering golden eyes staring back with a sweet intensity. Not matter what, leaving from their gaze was impossible. She turned her head swiftly up to point out the attackers, voice moving hastily it was difficult to make out the words. "I love you." before a reaction she was shot in the side, body falling to the ground and drawing final breaths before death overtook her.....-
Aspen startled awake by insomnia's voice, instinctively on his feet but not quite sure this was reality...or if he was still lost in a dream. He blinked a few times before deciding he was awake. "Umm...sure. What's wrong?" he was rather shocked to see she had made an appearance. After all...she hadn't exactly been fond of him a few hours ago. He questioned her motives after those things had been sorted out in his mind, but he was still going to listen.
