Jason paused a moment, turned around, and looked over his shoulder, "Never mind that. We better keep moving." He tells her, and he continues walking through the forest.

Riley hears the guards yelling now. "He's kidnapped the princess! He's gonna murder us all, i don't see the point in looking for him!" Riley keeps following him. "But I did have a crush on you when you first came.." She started.

Jason ignored her,"We need a place to sleep the night. But first, a source of water. Come." Jason began walking, letting the level of dampness in the dirt guide him to a creek.

"Ok." Riley replied, still following him.

Jason walked in silence. He looked back and gave Riley a small smile. He stepped into the creek, a slight chill creeping on him. The cold water seeped through his pants.

Riley looked at the water in horror. "It's not deep, is it?" She asked timidly. Riley was scared of water, as a child she had nearly lost her life in a nearby river, just by chance a guard had been walking by and helped her. but anyforms of moving water striked fear into her heart, she stood there, staring at the water, as if it would jump out and attack her.

Jason gave her another smile. A soft, caring one. "Come on, I won't let you go." He takes her hand and begins slowly pulling her into the freezing water, that Jason had already gotten used to. "Just close your eyes. I won't let you go." He assured her once more.

Riley closed her eyes and walked into the river, she was shocked at how cold it was, but she wouldnt open her eyes, in fear of seeing the water.

Jason pulled her, baby step by baby step, deeper into the water. He stopped when they were waist high in the water.He gave her a smile, knowing she wouldn't open them to see it, "Not that bad, right?"

"It's ok." Riley admitted, but deep down inside she was scared. Riley timidly opened her eyes and looked at the water, she looked at Jason instead of the water, knowing she didn't want to look at the thing that nearly took her life.
