Emery got up from the swing and looked around the park, not many people were here. He glanced at his sister and rolled his eyes at how easily entertained she was.

Skyler layed under the tree watching the clouds, imagining various things. She smiled and laughed lightly at the things she saw in the clouds.

Letting out a small sigh as her eyes finally got use to the bright light she bit her lip and looked down at Grudge petting him softly on the head. She moved the loose piece of hair out of her face and walked down the walk way. Well this is nice. she mumbled to herself as her eyes scanned around. Her red hair up in a messy bun, a large T on her upper body and tight small spandex on her lower half.

I nodded in pain,laying down.I said,"I live in the woods,but farther back." I tried to start talking, suddenly feeling like I got a fever.I had only now realized I was sweating,and shivering a little bit.I ran a hand through my hair, trying to cool down."Thanks,"I replied, as in if he hadn't found me in the woods,I would be in worse condition than I was at the moment.

It is so short...I just don't know exactly how to be very detailed with a fever,etc..

Wyatt didn't respond to the gratitude he was given. What could he say? 'You're welcome'? That didn't quite seem to float right with this situation they were in. 'No problem' didn't sound right, either. So he just didn't address it. He thought that his eyes caught a gleam of something between the vertical line the trees made - a badge, maybe - but it was brief, gone, and no person following it. "What happened?" It was a stupid question, one that Wyatt wished he hadn't asked - now wasn't the time - but he had nothing else to say at the moment, and he knew they had to hold up a conversation.

He could hear the reverberation of sirens, the sound wobbling its way through the trees like a pinball. An ambulance? The one he'd called for? There was no sure way to tell except to wait for the men to come running into the clearing. For all he knew it could have just been a couple of police cars racing by on the street, several hundred yards away.

I scanned the outline of trees, amber eyes shimmering with curiousity.I replied,looking at him again."I saw this kid getting bullied,then they brought out bats...As I think any natural person would do,I went in to help.I stole one of the bats,and whacked what seemed to be the leader in the head,lightly however..I regret it,but they seemed to be some sort of gang.Well,I had talked to the guy for awhile,and was deciding it was best to go home.It is about two hours into the woods, if I run..I got jumped." I said,voice blunt with pain.I laughed alittle...I now just realized that I whacked someone in the head with a baseball bat..How foolish.

"Not to get all judgey or anything, but that sounds kind of stupid," he wasn't afraid to say it; no inhibitions in this one. "If they had freakin' bats, why didn't you call the police or something?" Wyatt himself felt stupid; he had no idea what he was doing. His jacket was already soaked in the boy's blood and his hands were slippery with it. He couldn't tell if the pressure he was applying was actually helping or not. Still, he wouldn't let up.

Suddenly, he could see those strobing red lights coming through the trees, somewhere off in the distance. They were here. Wyatt inwardly praised himself. Not long after, Rags had caught the strange, antiseptic scent and jumped up to all four paws, yipping. He tried to run off again, but only succeeded in tugging on the leash that Wyatt was kneeling on. Wyatt waved one hand in the air when the silhouettes of men came between the trees, some form of gurney in tow. His other hand remained pressing the crumpled up jacket to the boy's worst injury.

The paramedics loaded Donali in the gurney and strapped him in. They'd start patching him up in the ambulance. They picked up the knife as well, no police being on the scene yet. Wyatt's jacket had been stolen by the EMTs, but he was completely fine with that. He followed the men out of the trees and back to the street, where there were two ambulances. Rags had gone silent again, Wyatt's hands bloodying his leash.

After Donali had been placed in the ambulance, Wyatt was examined by another couple of paramedics, and then he was left alone to walk home.

I looked at the guy,whom I had not caught his name.While in the ambulance,wondering what had've happend if he didn't find me..Or the pup hadn't sniffed me out.

I was hooked up to every machine,except the bag in which was my 'bathroom' and the feeding tubes.I was glad.
