"Really? Wow, she's secretly more popular than I am! Are any of them here?" he asked, glancing around the crowded room.
I'm collecting the 2020 Easter bunnies designed by Anouki. They're based on a
Japanese pottery technique where items are repaired by glueing the pieces back
together with a (typically) gold lacquer. It's called "kintsugi" and the idea behind
this is that broken things can still be beautiful, a mantra that has helped me cope
with the latest years of my depression. I've been saving up for a tattoo, to be my
first one, which will also be fashioned after kintsugi. That's why this design holds
a lot of sentimental value for me and, consequently, why I'm setting up a hoard
for them: to remind myself that even though I'm still struggling now, I will get
better. Please help me with this hoard. Thanks for reading. ~Love from Moony

Peter: he sat on the couch and glanced around the room.

"Would you help me help my sister, Star?" he asked her seriously. "Cuz you're gonna have to trust me."

He stared at Star, admiring her bravery. "That wasn't my plan. I was just looking for a yes, but I suppose that works as well," he admitted. "Right. Well, will you dance with me?" he asked, just as a slowish song came on and others grabbed partners around the room.
~ Jadyn / Syrena
Jadyn's eyes swivelled towards Peter. This one's for you, sis. Have fun! He got up, winked at Syrena, nodded once respectfully in Peter's general direction, then moved to the other side of the room, watching for girls that he could perhaps ask to dance. But who liked him in return? He scanned their minds...
Syrena's head snapped up and she stared at Peter. What-? This boy was talking to her! Her, little unpopular smarty-pants Syrena! "Hi," she whispered shyly, "I'm Syrena."

"Brilliant," he laughed, placing one paw on her waist and taking one of hers in his last free paw.
~ Jadyn
Hannah and Erica stood alone that he could see, so he approached them warily. "Hi," he murmured, which was strange for him. He usually never spoke at all, much less to girls he didn't know.
~ Syrena
The fae noticed Peter blush and so blushed herself. She cursed her red face but forced a smile. "Uhm... not much, honestly," she admitted. He probably doesn't like me at all... "I mean, I'm sort of a boring person... Sorry to disappoint you," she sighed. May as well tell him the truth.

Leo laughed a little and blushed lightly. "Neither do I. My plan was to just... sway," he sighed.
Jadyn shrugged. "Nothing much. Homework, school, the usual boring stuff. I need to throw a party of my own... Anyways, what about you two?"
Syrena's eyes shone and her face lit up completely as if she'd just been told her parents were alive. She nodded happily, standing up from her little seat in the corner.
