Elliot grinned "Yea, I don't have plans" he said with a lite chuckle. He never really ever did, he wasn't one to really think things out he kinda just went with the flow. "I could use some practice on my guitar." he added remembering it had been a while since he had played it.

Rhett grabbed the trunk of the tree again glad to have her feet on the ground. She looked back up at them seeing her plumb friend scared and growling. "It's OK Mooshi" she said still wide eyed as she watched. She hoped her cat wouldn't hurt the boy. "Be careful" she called up to them.

"It's gonna be okay, Moosh, just let me pick you up," Adam cooed, though his voice seemed to have no affect on the cat. Yellow eyes followed his hands' every movement, and he was just waiting for teeth to sink into his hand. Wincing as he did so, he lunged both his hands around the cat's torso, clutching the trashing black cat to his chest. but once he registered that he was closer to the ground, and being helped, the cat slowed his wild kicking. Claws dug into Adam's forearm now, though, and he gritted his teeth. He's just scared, he reminded himself mentally as he shifted Mooshi into one arm so he could climb down the tree. Once his feet were on the ground, he breathed a small sigh of relief and handed the shaken cat to the girl. "Here you are," he smiled, back to his cheery old self in no time.

Rhett smiled brightly and took the heavy cat and hugged him against her. "Thank you a hundred times over." she told the boy as she looked down at Mooshi. She glanced back up and bit her lip. "Sorry about that, he can have quite the attitude" she added with a slight chuckle. She hoped she didn't seem like a weak prissy girl who couldn't handle herself, and had to get someone to do everything for her. Because she was the opposite.

"It's nothing, really," he smiled, eyes softening as he did so. Mooshi was giving his face a bit of a bath, as if nothing had happened, and he couldn't help but give a little chuckle. "He and Jude would get along," he thought aloud, spacing out a bit. "I'm sorry, I should probably introduce myself after that. I'm Adam." He didn't hold his hand out, considering she had a cat in her hands, and his wrist was slightly bloodied from where claws had frantically dug into him just seconds before.

Rhett grinned and laughed a bit. "I'm Rhett" she said a bit hesitantly. She absolutely hated her name. But she was glad he had came along, her brothers old friends, like most guys despised cats. She never understood why. But they would probably burn the tree down, instead of climbing it and risking getting scratched. She blinked quickly getting rid of the thoughts.

"Really?" he mused. Rhett was far from a common name, especially for a girl. "Well I like it. Very Gone With the Wind," he smiled, trying to start a bit of conversation. The fact that she held the cat like he was her own flesh and blood made Adam smile to himself. It wasn't that a girl with a cat as a pet was uncommon, because it sort of wasn't, but lots of girls preferred dogs to cats. He, himself, was more of a cat person; he liked having a quieter cuddle companion. And they didn't follow you around constantly, like your own little entourage, nor did they constantly leave you gross and sticky from constant kisses. Clearing his mind from the subject, he took in his surroundings. He was sure that they'd caused quite a scene, what with a snarling cat and a terrified girl.

Rhett kissed Mooshi on top of the head before setting him down gently after she noticed the group of dogs had left. She grined slightly recognizing the movie title, her brother adored that movie along with any old movie. She was surprised anyone would like a name like hers. "I am glad you like it because I sure don't" she said as a light pink color flooded her checks.

Adam would've noticed the slight flush on her cheeks if he could look at her face for more than four seconds. When he thought someone was cute, he couldn't even think about making eye contact, and Rhett was.. well, she was gorgeous. And he assumed that the skateboard about three yards away from them was hers, which only made him more attracted to her. "Well I can like it enough for the both of us, then," he grinned, managing to look into her eyes for a second. They were an amazing shade of dark brown, similar to her raven hair, and an embarrassingly melty feeling took over him.

Rhett smiled, knowing that the color of her face was most likely very noticeable. But she was shocked someone would stick around her for as long as he was. She was able to snap out of her daydream and staring when she felt something tickle on her legs. Rhett glanced down and saw Mooshi brushing against her. She laughed softly, then deiced she probably shouldn't stand there awkwardly for much longer. So she sat crisscross with her back against the tree. Her plumb cat found his way into her lap and laid down. That made her smile wider, she knew that Mooshi would probably want her to sing to him, she always did to put him to sleep. She bit her lip nervously she had never sung in front of another person, not even her brother. She closed her eyes as sang as softly as she could "Everybody needs somebody sometimes. Everybody needs somebody on their mind. So tell me what you want, boy; I'll be there to hold you. 'Cause everybody needs somebody, sometimes." she leaned back as soon as the felines bright gold eyes closed, but she could feel her face get ten times redder. She giggled a bit "Looks like I will be sitting her for a while" she said looking up at the boy.
