My girls are constantly doing the rodent stare at me. It always makes me feel bad though, because they seem to like to do it when I have to go to school or when I'm going to bed XD

I bought my new rat home today :D he's so sweet but practicaly feral :( he hates being handled and will squeak like he's being hurt. He will bite when you try to stroke him and he just hides and freazes. Poor fella :( he isn't getting on well with Jacob at the mo so is in his own seperate cage next to them but his cage is tiny. It's going to take so much work to socialise him. It's a struggle to get him out the cage at the start ashe hides at the back trying to bite me :(

Im such a though bad person. I saw the most adorable little red girl. (First time I've seen one in my life!) I instantly feel in love. My mom ended up caving and let me take her home. She is the sweetest little thing ever. She's so friendly, and she was climbing all over the place in the car, and begging to get out of her carrier. My mom was kind of mad at me, because she didn't want me to get another one, but she doesn't mind her.

She's a little six week old agouti capped rex, and she is just the sweetest. I have to take pictures of her soon.

Well, a while back Zeus started getting really healthy, and for a while he seemed really friendly. I felt like he was getting a lot better. So, the vet said I could take him off treatment. Well, recently he's been getting sicker and more shy again, and one day he was just acting completely bizzare! I've started treating him again but he still looks really sick.

Also, Zeus is now a one year old! ;u;

So I got a new rat, but it keeps sneezing and it doesn't sound so good. Should I be worried?

Yes, take it to the vet for antibiotics. Sounds like a URI.

How long have you had it? Is it just sneezing?

About two hours or so. She keeps sneezing a lot. Not sure if she is wheezing, only once in a while.

I just had to take my new girl to the vet today. She was sneezing a lot, and it ended up being a cold. You really should take her, because it could turn into pneumonia if it goes untreated for too long. Better safe than sorry though.
