The scent of Ginger hit her nose, but Velvetpelt ignored it. She was too caught up in her own problems.

She watched the cats give her icy glances and menacing smiles.

Silentsteps glanced at the stranger, but ignored her. He didn't care to be honest.

Sudenly, a large dark cat with one blue eye and one brown eye stepped in front of her. "I saw you with that cat Nightmoon..." He hissed."Who do you think you are, challenging us so by daring to come back?" He advanced towards her, unsheathing his long, sharp, untrimed claws.

Velvitpelt briefly considered stepping in, but that would just earn her disrespect. She wasn't deputy, not anymore. She wouldn't defend anyone, she had bitter feelings that had emerged. She was so broken, so confused. It hurt. She went as far as to blame is on the whole of Bloodclan. She hissed at her decision, but deep down she knew it seemed, right. Bloodclan was the root of her issues. When she joined she was bullied, when she became deputy she earned no respect, when Thornfeather and Scourge became mates she was heart broken, though of course she would never let anyone know that, and her only cure was Fangeyes. But he's gone...He's dead... But it was Bone's fault. All his fault. A feeling of revenge prickled over her, sending her fur spiking upwards. He had to die.

Silentsteps observed this. A medicine cat never fought, right? He was obedient to those rules.

Ginger cowered before remembering how to earn this clan's respect. She unucked her tail, put her ears up, and sat calmly on the edge of the alley. "You Know Nightmoon was the one causing trouble, lopside-eyes." She teased him as he bared his teeth.

She shivered at the thought of Bone, his sharp claws, musculine build and fierce expression. It sent shivers down his spine.

"You have no right to insult the deputey of bloodclan!" He hissed, slashing three scars across her vulnerable cheek. She staggered backwards before lunging at him, pinning him down, and staring into his shocked eyes.

Velvetpelt also noticed she was getting fatter due to pregnancy, and hoped no one would notice, though it was rather noticable. She hoped they would think that she was just eating to much. She heard snarls outside, and crawled to the door, spotting the two fighting cats.

His lips curled back in a snarl of rage at ginger before throwing her off and lunging at her.
