"That's just not right either." Lila shook her head vigorously. "Sooo, any male dogs?" She chuckled. I guess having a mate would not be horrible, but I figure if I want back to my family I need a male in tow."

Eve shrugged. "I don't know I haven't met any yet," She said, her gold eyes catching movement in a pile of trash nearby. Slowly, she stood and stalked forward then leaped with a vicious bark into the pile. She came out with a small squirrel.

"Impressive." Lila got up, stretched and yawned, then sat back down. "Yeah, I've been here for like a day."

Eve dropped the squirrel. "Thanks. I had to learn quickly but what dog that lives here doesn't," She said. "And as far as living here goes, if you want I can help you when you need it,"

"Sometimes a rabbit runs through and Lola said something earlier about deer," Eve said, looking down at her squirrel. She lay down and ate it, licking her paws and muzzle clean when she was through.

"Who is Lola??" Lila asked tilting her head

"One of the dogs that live here, she's rather nice," Eve replied, looking up at Lila.

"Oh, well I look forward to meeting her." Lila stood up. "Can you show me around?"

"Sure," Eve said, standing up and watching Lila for a moment before she started walking. "I don't know what much is, but I'll show you around,"
