Who? Jo? Oh she's my sister. He said walking along looking ahead of him. He smiled down at her. Why do you ask? He asked. He pulled the dogs leashes back so they wouldn't walk so fast. People got out of their way to go around the dogs. Many people disliked his dogs for the way they looked. Mean. E.J. liked it like that.

She smiled as she unhooked her dogs leashes and played frisbee with all three of them. She smiled as they ran around trying to catch it in mid air and then fighting with whoever caught it playfully. She sat in the grass watching them. That was the best thing about having three dogs. All you have to do is throw it out once and they would do the rest. She leaned back on her palms a little bored.

Adam ran a hand through his hair once again, pushing it back off his forehead. Of course, he forgot about his rabbit, and had to feed the little devil. Einstein, a rabbit mutt, was Hotot, Angora, and Miniature Rex, which means he was on the small side. Adam had bought him when his dad's neighbor's rabbit had kitted and needed to get rid of the ones she couldn't keep. Stein was born with a bad foot, which meant he was the first to go, and the first to make Adam's heart just melt. His hops were a bit off-balance, but other than that, the little bunny managed just fine. Making his way over to the simple wood-and-wire hutch, he shook some timothy hay into a little dish for the fuzzball, followed by a serving of pellets and a handful of lettuce leaves. After refilling the water bottle and giving the bun a good petting, he grabbed his wad of money in his jar marked 'SPEND' and jammed it into his pocket, followed by his house and mail keys and his cigarettes. Out the door of his apartment, locking it after him, he made his way down the stairs and down the next couple blocks to Housing Works, which might as well have been his favorite place in the world. An independent bookstore with a cafe, and they sold vintage vinyl. And he never knew what he might find in the quirky little store, so every shopping excursion was an adventure. He loved the place.

Elliot chuckled lightly. Then heard his stomach growl slightly. "Sure" he said with a shrug. He stretched his arms over his head. He had always been on the tall side. Another thing he had gotten from his father, so another thing he hated. His eyes looked around for a moment, most places being very crowded, but that shouldn't really be a problem, he wasn't terrified of crowds like his sister was. Then he looked back down at her. "Have any place in mind?" he knew New York almost had it all, from quick stops to fancy restaurants. And he really didn't mind where they went.

Before scratching his only ear. The black cat made a small meow and that made Rhett smile. She knew that the feline couldn't understand her but she always felt like he was listening.

Macy glanced around, her brain plotting on the map of New York City. "Why not the small bistro by the corner?" She suggested, thinking of the price. It was affordable. Shading her spare hand over her eyes, she thought again. "Unless you want to go to some fancy steak place" She turned to him again, stuffing her hands into the back pocket of her jeans.

Pulling out a lighter and a rolled cigarette from the before-used package, he quickly lit the cigarette and then put the pack and the lighter back in his pocket. Rolling his own was cheaper than buying a pack of Marlboro's, and arguably better for him. Taking drags as he walked, staying to the sidewalk closest to the buildings to avoid complaining people, he decided he was in the mood for a coffee. After a last few drags, he flicked the butt onto the ground and stubbed it out carefully with the bottom of his shoe. Reaching into his pocket for the bunch of money he set aside for this sort of stuff, he got into line before a blonde girl who was about set to order herself as the person front of her left with a cup. Already his mind was turning excitedly, wondering what new stuff he'd find: possibly a Bowie album, or maybe something Beatles if he was lucky. Nirvana, too, or Queen. Or CCR. Tom Petty, The Cure, Boston, Journey, Pink Floyd, Police, Smiths.. He was looking on expanding his music library, but books were nice, too. Switching his mindset to coffee, he figured that just a simple house coffee would do, three sugars. He wasn't into vanilla anything, or frappes, or double soy nonfat things. Just coffee.

Elliot smiled "That's cool with me" he said before starting to walk, but he didn't go far before he stopped and started to laugh. "You better lead the way." he had never been to that place, he could never leave his sister alone for a hardly five minutes or she would freak out. So he always went to the places she liked to eat, which was normally the weird vegetarian places.

Rhett pushed herself up and grabbed her board, then threw it in some bushes. She shrugged and turned back to the cat. "No one will take it I guess." she started walking slowly and patted her leg again singling the cat to follow. "Let's go for a walk Mooshi dear" she trotted along then kicked a rock. Mooshi ran after the small stone then caught in his paws. Rhett laughed again. Not really minding that she must have looked like a crazy person talking to a cat. She glanced around to see if anyone was looking, the large groups of people made her bit her lip. "Here kitty...kitty" she said in a muffled voice not wanting any one to hurt her precious pet.
