Vivir closed his eyes tight and though 'dont be too cocky, human lover!' but he bit his tounge and sighed deeply. "You know where the training are is, right?" He pointed in the direction of Aspen "That way." He tried his best to remain calm and not get too suspicios. After all, he really wanted to gain her trust and pull her back to the side of the wolves.

Murcury pitied the boy. "Oh, I bet your tired, Smithy! You know, we have known each other for quite some time. I remember seeing you pass by with your scientist every now and then in the lab. I always wanted to save you!" She ever so gently touched her nose to Smith's. "I can save you from boredom, if you want. If Aspen catches us not in training, Ill cover for you. After all, any wrong action could slice you from guard duty."
Murcury smiled big and closed her eyes tight. "I say we stay here aaaallll day!"

Gats looked at her longingly. "Insomnia. That isnt possible. The pain is too deep for a pup to handle. Even numbing them is risky. It would take at least a thousand human minds to help all of them survive." Gats had no idea that today's training was mandatory. He didnt even know there was training today.

She snorted. "Don underestimate me. If I want it done, it'll get done." her eyes narrowed dangerously. She would figure something oout. A few pups just needed to be born, first

Gats stared at her. "I know your determined." he giggled. "But thats far out. Even if you get it done... it could take your whole life." Gats sounded nearly desperate to change her mind. "Even if all the pups wont survive, the thrill of raising a few special ones is a huge feeling."

She nodded. "Yea. I just.....there are too few of us as it is. If I can save even a few.....it would be worth my life." She smiled dreamily, thinking of saving so many.

"Yeah, I remeber getting past you and the others when they wanted to test me...Uh, it was terrible" Smith shiverd sightly . "Sometmies they could put me in a room with almost no oxygen, just to see if my instruments worked. It was horrible..." He touched her nose the same way she just did. "Oh, please save me from the boredom!" He grinned back. "And please, from the training too!"

"Ill save you from training, boredom and those aweful memories!" Murcury shouted in a laughing tone!

He luaghed nervously. "D-dont you see! You dont have to try and save the other few! Just two could save the whole population of wolves!"

She smiled sadly. He didn't understand. "Don't you ever want more? Don't you want to be able to help?" she sighed. "You, at leat, can help by fighting."

Murcury shook her fur off to rid the collected dirt afterwards. "Smith, you know this could lead to pups." She stared him in the face. "If it does, they wont all live. That might hurt, emotionally."
