Icetalon nodded, "Yes, we'll probably go fishing in the stream since the fish should be spawning now," He meowed. "And then head into the forest to catch prey there; hopefully it'll be a good trip." He padded back to Bandedowl and looked around, "Where's Wildblaze?" He asked with an impatient tone edging into his voice.

.: Redpaw :.

Redpaw shrugged, "Whatever. I'll see you later," He meowed disappointingly and followed after Nightwhisper, breaking into a run to catch up with his mentor. He inhaled the forest scent deeply and sighed. His head grew light with each large breath and he could feel his legs bursting with energy.

Bandedowl growled, "As I said, he's already gone out by the looks of it. We can pick him up on the way."

VIVACE | Loner | Female

"Oye!" The she-cat snapped, speaking in a northern accent. "Could you keep it down? Your aggravating my headache." She grunted, ears flattened against her head. Speaking didn't bring her too much pain, nothing worse than breathing did.

[ We're heading out on patrols, Brightspots was chosen to go on a border patrol with Silvertail, Ebonyfrost and Emberpaw ]

Icetalon nodded and headed out of camp, ducking as he slid through the two bushes that marked the entrance to camp; they were woven together skillfully so that they formed a sort of arch that gave cats plenty of space to squeeze through, however the top came down low. He stepped out into the forest and took a deep breath through his nose, then began heading for the river. Icetalon walked at a moderate pace and continually checked the air for a trace of prey.

Wildblaze || Tom || Warrior || Mateless

Wildblaze's fur bristled at the reply, not having expected one from the hanging cat. His speaking was giving her a headache? She was upside down in a tree, practically soaked in blood for Starclan's sake! HE was the problem? Flattening his ears, Wildblaze grunted. She looked as though she had been bleeding heavily, and her legs looked horribly twisted. How could he get her down? Did she even want his help? "Erm... do you need help?" The question was obvious and sounded stupid with Wildblaze's gruff, deep tone of voice. But he didn't know what else to say.

She followed Icetalon and Bandedowl intently. Her mind on the other hand was fulll and reeling. It was going from one thing to the next, random things really. Her head was spinning until she almost ran into a stick. Then the apprentice shook her head and decided to pay attention.

BANDEDOWL | Warrior | Male

Bandedowl followed Icetalon out of the camp, shaking his head briefly as the low top of the bush skimmed over his scalp. He padded softly behind the tom, opening his mouth slightly as we went and breathing in the air, trying to pick of traces of Wildblaze so that the warrior could join the hunting patrol. He managed to pick up a stale trace from earlier in the morning, heading towards the river. As as cold, gentle rush of wind funneled through his mouth he also picked up the faint scent of iron coming from that direction as well. Bandedowls' pupils dilated and his lifted his head sharply, ears pricked as he strained to pick up any calls of distress. He kept the discovery to himself, if the others picked it up then they did, but he didn't want anyone panicing.

VIVACE | Loner | Female

Vivace hesitated a moment, catching her breath. Speaking had used up a bit of energy and seemed to have left her breathless.
"Yeah, that'd be nice." She growled through clenched teeth. Vocalization was a bit of a strain, and it only left her feeling dizzy and faint. If she were in any other situation she wouldn't have let anyone help, it made her feel weak and useless, but she knew she could very well be dieing, it felt that way at least. The help wasn't desired, but it was needed.

As Icetalon continued, he could sense Bandedowl's distress and looked over his shoulder, "Are you okay?" He stiffened and looked around, halting in place. Icetalon raised his muzzle to the air and sniffed around, breathing deeply. He picked up the faint trace of Wildblaze and...blood? Icetalon scowled in concentration, wondering what the smell could have come from. He decided it could have been from something he had caught earlier, or it could have been blood from a fox that a picked a fight with another fox.

Wildblaze nodded as she answered in the affirmative. But, how was he to help her? He looked up into the tree, trying to find some path with strong enough branches that he could get to the injured she-cat. There was ony one way he saw that could possibly hold his weight, but he still doubted it.

Ebonyfrost leapt up when Silvertail called him. "Sure!" He answered. Ebonyfrost padded after her, his tail up with silent joy.


Petalpaw bounded over to the patrol. "Can I come too?" Petalpaw asked The patrol with Emberpaw in it. "Since Wildblaze doesn't care about his apprentice..." She muttered sadly. Petalpaw really wanted to show her mentor all the new things she'd been practicing, but how could she when he was never with her? She'd rather patrol with Emberpaw. Emberpaw... She thought, remembering his sleek petal and warm eyes...
