Melody blinked in conusion. "Who... R-Ray?" She cocked her head, arms hanging limply at her sides when he hugged her. "I thought... I thought you were-" She cut herself off, a small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. "You're alive..." She breathed, mostly to herself. Her smile had grown to the point that it could no longer get any bigger. The small red-head glanced up at the spear and crinkled her freckle-spotted nose. "You smell like fish." She stated simply, brushing the hair out of her eyes.

Elena

I hugged myself, shrugging simply. "I'm not sure, just might be the island." I said simply, watching the waves crash to shore. I laid my head down onto his lap, looking up at him. "Sorry. I'm not trying to be rude or anything." I said softly, placing my hands on his chest. I grinned slowly, the smile barely hitting my eyes. The shine just seemed dull. I licked my lips and rubbed my nose into his abdomen, shutting my eyes.

That's probably because I just went fishing. He smiled. He put his arm around her shoulders. Let's get you back to camp, dear. He joked smiling leading her to the fire. He looked up and saw Elena and his brother. He sat opposite of them so he wouldn't really see them with the fire in the way. He got a large flat rock and took one of the sharp spears and snapped it near the stone part making a knife. He looked up at Melody and waved her to sit down. He then began skinning and gutting the fish.

E.J. smiled and kissed her slowly. He looked up seeing Melody and smiled. Hey! You're okay! He said smiling. He brushed a loose strand of hair from Elena's face and stared down at her. He kissed her forehead and tried to look at Ray. THe fire was in the way. Hey, you need some help? He questioned looking over. No. Ray said dryly looking down at his work.

Melody grinned and followed Ray to the fire. She looked questioningly between him and E.J., her head cocked in confusion. "What pushed y-" She stopped mid-sentance as she saw the fish, her eyes widening considerably. Her smile had vanished completely. The sight of blood made her stomach churn, but she tried to firce herself to sit down. She very slowly slid down to sit as far away from Ray as possible, unable to rip her gaze away. She was't the kind of person who would normally be able to survive if she was stranded, for that reason exactly.

Elena

I kissed him back gently, but then Ray came and... I felt really sick. Pulling away, I listened to the hostility in Ray's tone. Standing up I started walking backwards. "Um, I-I'll be back sometime." I said, vanishing into the woods. I sat on the ground, putting my head in between my knees. Taking deep breaths, squeezing shut my eyes. Why did I just have to like two guys, that happened to be brothers, and the liked me, and we where on and island, and... I was just running on and on, the thoughts chasing through my head.

Ray looked up seeing Melody knowing her dilemma. He smiled and went back to working on the second fish. He built a pit and moved some fire and dry grass in there. He took some long stones covering the little pit. He put the fish on top grilling them. He threw the insides and skins of the fish in the fire. The aroma of grilled fish grew. He smiled loving the fact that he was in the army. He looked up and saw Elena leave. 99.9% of his body wanted to chase after her. To hold her close and tell her everything would be okay. He couldn't let that happen though. He watched her leave longingly and looked back at his fish.

E.J. got up looking at Elena leave and focused his anger on Ray. {Dun Dun Dun....} So you can't just cool your anger down for one second!? Look at her! Now she left because of you! Ray shook his head. Stop talking. Ray said sternly. No, you listen to me. You be happy for me. She is mine. I don't know what you guys did back in high school as friends or whatever but you need to cool off. I like her, can't you just be happy for me? E.J. asked him yelling. Just shut up and sit down. Ray said evenly and sternly looking down at the fish. He looked at Mel who understood his anger and gave a slight turn of the corners of his mouth. E.J. rolled his eyes putting his head back. I'm done. He said walking along the beach. Ray shook his head. No one understands. He almost whispered.

Jo looked up seeing Elena run into the forest. She got up and walked after her. She stood behind her. Um, El? Are you okay? She asked sitting down next to her and putting her arm around her hoping to comfort her. She didn't know what happened. Everything was okay and now....it seemed like everything was crashing down.

Melody watched Enrique leave for a moment before slipping over to sit down bedsdie Ray. She put away her sickness and hovered just beside him, offering silent comfort. "I'm so sorry." She murmered, not touching him at all. "You still love her, don't you? And watching your brother..." She trailed off, her gaze boring into him.

Ray gave a faint nod. Gonna ask her to marry me too. That's why I had everyone come down here. I have the ring back at my room in the hotel...I was waiting for the right moment. Then, everyone wanted to go out boating. So, we went...and now we are stuck here.I just woke up this morning on the beach. Then I see E.J. with her. It was my fault. I, I left to go into the army for a year. I knew she would see different people but I just hoped she would have remembered me... He said slowly. He always told Melody everything. They were like brother and sister...since Jo had no interest in telling her brothers anything. Jo was the rebel of the family.
