For years, Cliffclan has been at peace. The territory has remained plentiful with it's prey, herbs, shelter and water. The clan has lived in mutual agreement with the presence of Fieldclan, greeting each other with rather cold welcomes.
Well, until twolegs found the territory. An argument was quickly started about what to do during a gathering. Fieldclan wanted to stay and fight, and Cliffclan thought it was a sign that they should move.
And the fight amongst kin and friends started. Attacks were made, revenge was taken, cats were killed. And still the twolegs came.
Eventually the fighting pushed the clans to move their cats further from the other. Set out on different landscapes, the cats sat in waiting with hate, confusion and loss coursing through them.
And then the twolegs started the fires.
The land was lit up in a bright orange flame, sweeping across the land and sending cats fleeing. Kits were lost, Elders left behind, herbs destroyed.
And so they moved.

Cliffclan moved closer to the mountains that resided along the edge wher cats have never explored.
Fieldclan moved further into the fields and smooth land, staying out of range from the fires.
And still they fought, day after day.

Fieldclan
Fieldclan cats are usually on the side of small and thin. They have Earth-tone coat colors, and varying eye color. They are best at running and stealth tactics, but are rather weak when it comes to fighting. They prefer to sort things out using voice only, and rarely will swat at another clan cat.

The Dark and Dangerous Rules

♪ No fighting OOC. We really don't need it, I mean.. Sheesh.
♪ No mating with your own character. It's just really, really unfair.
♪ You must have a mate to be pregnant. Seriously, I mean it.
♪ You cannot switch clans unless you talk to the other clan's leader. That means that you must get permission from both clans first.
♪ I would like this to be a semi-lit RP, so five detailed sentences at the least. 3 with WB. No three word posts like 'i sat down'. Its RP, please. DETAILS!
♪ Please don't use Chatspeak. I dont need, 'stormpaw walked too lilley and sat he looked at her and grinned heeeeyyy'. NO. WAY.
♪ Be realistic. Cat's can't grin, or talk to humans. They're cats.
♪ Follow Tess' rules, of course. They're there for a reason!
♪ If you will be gone for more than a week, please PM me. Or else I will kick you off.
♪ Your cat can die. Deal with it.
♪ No God-Modding or Power-Playing. You cat can and will get hurt in a fight, but depending on how much us up to you. So, no super-cats.
♪ Use proper Warrior Cat grammer.

Cliffclan
Cliffclan cats are usually on the larger side of things, and tend to be more muscular than other cats. They usualy have Earth-tone coat colors, but also can be gray or black. White is extremely rare, and varying eye color is seen. They are best at stealth tactics and hunting, and are unsurprisingly good at fighting. They prefer to sort things out with teeth and claws, and rarely use voice to sort things out.

The Warrior Code

1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.

2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.

3. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.

4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.

5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.

6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.

7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.

8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.

9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.

10. A Gathering of the two clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.

11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.

12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.

13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.

14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.

15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

Apprentice - a cat who is in training to become a warrior or medicine cat
Queen - a she-cat expecting or nursing kits
Kit - a kitten
Elder - a retired warrior or medicine cat
Kittypet - a house cat; the term can also be used as an insult
Loner - a cat who is neither owned by humans or part of a Clan
Rogue - another term for loner; some cats find it offensive

Gathering - a meeting that the Clans hold in peace when the moon is at its fullest

Poppy seeds - used to numb pain
Cobwebs - used to stop bleeding

Marigold - used to treat infection and heal wounds and sores
Horsetail - used to treat infected wounds
Burdock root - used to treat infections, especially rat bites

Wild garlic - rolling in this can help to keep out infection

Viperpaw is a rather stubborn, bull-headed cat. Despite looking like an innocent angel, she enjoys stirring up trouble and only listens to those really, really important to her. She often will backtalk anyone near her, most often for the fun of it, but deep, deep, very deep down, is actually sweet and kind. Sometimes Viperpaw will wander off, and attempt to find who she really is.

Viper was born as a kittypet. Pampered indoors as the runt of the litter, she often would wander around the house and explore in places her twolegs told her not to. She eventually became an outdoor cat, memorizing the backyard she was in until she knew what grew where, down to every last detail. Quickly growing bored with being in the same small space, and having grown up rather fast compared to her siblings, Viper leapt over the fence when she was around 3 moons old, and has never returned. She somehow managed to find her way to Cliffclan before they moved, and has been with them since.

Also sweet, she had strong compact and combat skills. She is also very beautiful, and likes to tease cats in a kind way. Indeed, she is one great leader.

Wolfstar, as the leader of his clan, cares about everyone. He is sweet and rarely has bursts of anger. Of course, he has to be one of the strongest of the clan, so that he can support his 'family' of a clan. But he isn't easy to compare with his sister, Mousestar. Just the mention of Mousestar causes him to grow paranoid and cranky, where he will rush at that cat with swiping claws. He really hates his sister, and wants to be proven as stronger than her.

Whisper is by far one of the nicest cats you might ever meet. This cat might as well not even have a temper. She's patient, thats all. Her stress levels stay low, her whole life she has been a problem solver. Give her a cut, she'll heal it. Give her a stomachache, she'll surely fix it no matter what. With a passion for helping people she was once highly respected from where she used to live. Her responses to questions are always filled with something smart, helpful, or wise. She can sound like an elder sometimes though she is far too young to acutally be one. Her mind is set forward, she ignores the past though it hurts her. But she won't let it show so no one has ever really learned of it.
