I woke up with a few swipes at the
snooze bar on my clock. When I finally
got up, I realized it was time to get my Pokemon!
I pulled on my clothes and raced toward the professor's
house. "I'm here!" I panted. "Ah Anna your finally here"
he smiled. "Lucky for you we have one Pokemon left."
He picked up the poke ball, and pressed the button.
Immediatly a bright light filled the room, and I saw the cutest
Pokemon. "What is it?" I asked. "It's a cyndaquil" the professor laughed.
Then he got serious. "Anna I have a favor to ask of you." "Anything in return
for this Pokemon" I bent over. "I would like you to travel around the hoen region,
with this pokedex, and try to fill it up" he picked up the pokedex from the table.
"Okay" I stood up straight. "Good" he smiled. I returned his smile and turned to go.
"Oh Anna, don't forget to tell your mom before you go." I won't!" I called over my shoulder.
I raced home nearly bumping into my neighbor Brandon. "Hey Brandon" I gave him a
little wave. "Hey" he smiled. "So, did you get a Pokemon?" he asked. "Yah, you?" he replied.
I nodded, and pushed the button on my poke ball. "Cool!" his smile widened. "I'm just going to
get mine now" he turned to go. "See yah" I continued on my way back home. When I opened
the door my mom greeted me. "Hello honey" she smiled. "Hey mom, I was wondering if
I could go on a journey and fill up this pokedex for the professer" I told her what happened.
She nodded, and smiled. "I guess you should return the favor..." she started. "Mom" I
sighed irritated at that point. "Okay I guess I should trust you on this one" she smiled.
"Go on, go fill up that pokedex for the professer" she smiled. "Bye mom!" I gave her a hug,
and continued out the door.

Sabrina lay curled up in a mass of blankets on her bed, sunlight streaming through her window. Sabrina blinked wearily and pulled her self up into a crumpled upright position, today was the day she began her journey around the region. She slowly eased out of bed, and pulled a brush through her long black hair. After getting dressed she tied back her hair and half ran, half fell down the stairs and out the door. Running to the professor's lab took a while, by the time she reached it Sabrina was panting, her face flushed. Greeting the professor, she walked over to where two pokeballs lay, "You can pick out of these two, Cyndaquil has already be taken." he explained, pointing to the two poke balls. Sabrina reached to one and piked it randomly, inside was a little green Pokemon with a leaf on it's head.
Sabrina held out the pokeball to the professor, "May I have this one?" she asked politely, already have fallen in love with the little Pokemon.

How you got pokemon(write a short story telling how you got it.): Tyson (nicknamed Phoenix by his friends, thanks to his love of fire-types) was up before his alarm was off. He was really excited to get his first pokemon. His mother's Growlithe came sniffing into his room and barked. Ty laughed and ruffled the Growlithe's head fur. "Let's go down for breakfast" he said and walked downstairs with the fluffy canine. He quickly ate his jam on toast, no butter then grabbed his bag and went out to the Professor's lab.

When Tyson got there, it was packed. Lots of people were there. It took ages for him to finally get his turn. The professor turned to him after giving someone a Squirtle. "Oh, Tyson" he said and smiled. "I heard about your adoration for fire types. Here, follow me" he said and beckoned Tyson to follow. Tyson followed, looking around. "I saved you a very special charmander, just for you." The prof entered a room with Tyson following. Inside the room was a charmander, a little larger than average-sized charmanders. It looked up as the people entered the room. Tyson looked at the Charmander. Their eyes locked on each other and they smiled. "This is the charmander that'd be accompanying you" the prof said. Tyson looked up at him with happy eyes. "Thank you professor!" he exclaime. "I'll name him... Uno."
