i use to i had to sell all my cows,my puppy was absoultly terrifeid by them

that must have sucked...my showcow missy had her first calf, HokeyPokey, but then the calf died during the snowstorm, And the cow is down, so we may have to put her down.

thats sad we had quite a few calves we had to sell all of them and their parents,this one calf was a winner

I mostly show sheep actually but I have shown steers and taught greenhands how to show them. My personal experience was terrible in showing my own steer. Although entertaining.

Question though. My school show was huge, it was either te, or runner up to the biggest school related show in the state. We have 4 and next year, 6 schools participating in it. So to make it even for all kids, we have a lottery style pick from a breeder that the school retains. I had thought that all schools did it this way.However I've visited other schools through FFA duties and found out that many schools did not. Did y'all have to use a certain breeder or pick our own for school shows (if you did school shows) ? And did y'all participate in the show circuit on a local/state or national basis?
