I was feeling gifty at the moment and gifted someone an Uncommon Malk Fox. It was the only thing I could give that was on theyre wishlist, since the rares were in trades.
They accepted with "You know, you couldve added some more."

Gaah, say no more. *covers ears*. I haven't ever had someone accept a gift with that sort of message but I've seen a good few people posting about it and it just really bugs me. I mean. you could have sent them nothing in the first place. It amazes me that people can be so rude as to actually say that to someone. -.-

irkMasterPsyKou, that's pretty much how demand works. People pay way more than the pet is worth on a regular basis, making it impossible for others to obtain it through a rarity/date-wise trade (Shima Longtail, catch my drift?) and causing the pet to be actually worth more. D=

Yeah, people are rude these days It doesn't matter what people give you, it's a gift. You should appreciate it

This. I gifted somebody a rare rat some while back, and they accepted with something like "Thanks for the, um, rat... "
I'm not usually that bothered about people putting gifts in trade folders. If it means they get a pet they want, then they can do what they want with it. After all, my gifts tend to be really bad, so it normally happens.
