The moment you hear your name, you know you're going to be in the Hunger games. Wether you volunteered or were plucked from the draw you're going to be in it. You get up on the stage and shake hand swith your fellow tribute. But that wasn't the end to the surprises. It was a Quarter Quell, the very first. There wasn't an any extra tributes or anything special; so what was the surprise all about? "It will be the most beastly Hunger games ever, you will find out what that means when we get to the Tribute Parade." That's what the President said, but you have no clue what it means. You board the train and then are told to go to a room, 3 doors on the left, or to the right. You listen to your mentor and go into the room.
You walk in, it's stark white with a table in the middle with some trays on the counters. Suddenly, some peacekeepers grab you and drag you over to the table, strapping you in; ignoring your protests. They leave the room and in their palce is a woman with a needle. She grins menacingly at you as she puts antiseptic on your arm before jabbing the needle into your arm, then pulling it out after inserting the liquid into you.
At first it feels numb, then it gets worse and worse until it burns. You cause an uproar of cries before your throat tightens up, allowing you no more words. Then you're hearing begins to fade, the last thing you hear is, "It's alright, dear, just give it a few more minutes." Then everything goes black.
You wake up in the bed of the train, you can hear the roar of the train moving, then you open you're eyes. You see blackness, but after taking off the bandages, you can't help but feel strange. You look at yourself and almost yelp, but you jump out of bed and look at the mirror, horrified. "Oh no.." you say lowly. Now you know what they meant,
You're half animal now.
~Rules~
1.THIS is SEMI-LIT as well, I want at least three to four lines, if you have writer's block, I understand that so put WB in bold, but it will get old, so don;t use it as a constant excuse. I also want active people, please! If you're on vacation, I also understand, just Pm me before you go or I might just kill off your character during the games if you don't appear after a while.
2. It would be nice if you PMed or asked someone before killing a character, but remember that there is only one that will live so somebody has to say yes, if this doesn't happen, then I shall delete this rule.
3. These guys may be hybrids, but that doesn't mean that you can kill anyone with one hit. Be reasonable.
4. The tributes have been given animal DNA, but to keep it interesting, there will be one type of animal per tribute. You may PM me if you wish to explain the difference between animals (like the grey foxes can climb, but not other canines), also if you want something like the Mockingjay, I MIGHT allow that animal to be chosen too. Almost everything is first come, first serve: mainly positions, items, and animal.
5. two characters (maybe three) per person, but in separate districs please; also if you may use appearances from the movie but not the actual characters (you may have an appearance of gale but please don't put Gale.)
6. to show you've read the rules, write "Fire is burning" Train Ticket.
7. I decide who wins at random, so everyone has a chance, so some may be allowed.
8. DO NOT SPAM this, advertise as much as you please but DO NOT spam this too much. (Ity was crazy enough last time...)
9.if you choose to be allies/enemies with someone's character at the beginning, PM the other person so they can appect/deny (don't forget a little friendly fire is possible
)10. Other Game-makers (helping manage the forum) may be appected if asked; if I need someone to take over for me, I will annoucne who is in charge.
11. If things get too boring, there will be mutts or "natural" disasters, so be on your guard
