Drew slid into his computer chair, situated cleverly beside the door so that when he sat in it, it went rolling straight across the hardwood floor to the old dinosaur. (see what I did there? Eh, nevermind.) He turned it on and spun around a few times as it booted up, like a kid waiting for the newest comic book release. He opened the browser as it finally warmed up, and he keyed in the location of the supposed monster. He skimmed through a few online articles, all the information being enough to convince him this was what he was going to do. "If I can just get that money.." he said to himself, turning in the chair and grabbing a Post-it note from the wall, then turning back to the desk, "I'll never have to worry about fighting to keep my head above water,"

((My desktop might as well be a dinosaur))
Ivy looked at a few more sites, gathering what little info existed on the beast that supposedly lived in Whitetail Wood.
"Large, wings, dark coloured, with glowing red eyes... sounds like a mothman... or an owl man to me" Ivy mumbled as she took some notes before starting to pack her stuff, she was going to head out to the woods tonight. She wasn't going to risk anyone else finding that creature, whatever it was, first,

(Fff, I'm gonna have to bookmark this. ><)
Drew jotted down the information he found, however little, in a scribbly chicken scrawl he could barely read himself. His hands were too shaky to write, still excited by such an opportunity. He launched himself out of his chair to the dresser and pulled out and pairs of clothes; he tossed those into the bag and went back to the kitchen, packing some supplies and provisions enough to last him about a week. By the time he was done, the bag was heavy on biz shoulders. "Time to leave," he said to himself with a slight smirk, but stopped before he left the kitchen. He turned and jotted down a quick note for his mother, telling her he would be out partying with friends.

((Sorry... i haven't been online much over the past few days))
Ivy scrawled a note out for her for her roommate, saying she was going out camping for a few days.
Her roommate, Blue, didn't know that Ivy was a cryptid hunter, Blue just thought that Ivy was an animal loving, tv geek, with a minor interest in legendary creatures.
She pulled her pack onto her back and headed down to the bus stop, waiting for the next one heading out to Whitetail Wood.

Drew held the bag on his back with both hands as he walked down the street. He got a few odd stared but dismissed them without another thought. He probably looked like an idiot, or someone who was going camping for a long time which in a way, he was. He approached the bus stop and sank down on an empty spot on a nearby bench, letting the bag drop with a loud thud.

The bus reached Ivy's stop first, and she stepped aboard, paying the driver the fare for a trip out to Whitetail Wood.
she chose a seat by the window on the left side of the bus and put her pack on the seat beside her, there were not many people on the bus this evening, the odd person coming home late from work and her. she stared out the window at the passing streets as the bus started on it's route again.

As the bus pulled up to his stop, Drew pushed himself off the bench and hauled the bag onto his back with a little bit of a struggle. He thought he had almost heard the seams beginning to rip on the straps, but pushed it aside as he boarded the buss and skimmed through the choice of seats. He went closer to the back, were he usually sat, and dropped his bag on the floor with a sigh. He sat down in his selected seat, and leaned back heavily upon it.

Drew lifted his head when he heard a voice a few seats up. He only caught part of what was said, but it made him wonder. Maybe there was someone else looking for the unknown? He brushed it off with a small groan and tip of his head backwards. "Maybe you're just hearing things, Drew..no one else could possibly want to go after something like that.."

Ivy looked out the window for a moment, before murmuring to herself
"Note to self: Don't think aloud so much... people will think you are crazy" before shaking her head and dismissing the thought, "People already think i'm crazy... why would not thinking aloud so much change that" she added, as she watched the houses go past.
