Queen had been laying down when she heard a voice, she looked over and saw Hawk. "Hello," she said as she sat up. Her voice was shy and weak like it always was. "I'm Queen."

"Oh so you're just a newcomer," Xavier chuckled slightly. "I've been here for over a year and a half now. But I got brought here when my owners no longer wanted me, they sold me to one of the men that work here." He snorted a bit at the thought of his old humans selling him. He hated that memory.

Brook layed in her pen, a sad look in her eyes. She looked at all the scarred dogs around her cage.

•King•
The large brown-and-white pitbull paced in his cage. "Just give me a fight so I can get it over with." He muttered, her paws thruming against the stone ground with every stride.

Hawk gave a sheepish smile, "Nice to meet you."

Queen chuckled a bit, "you look tired."

King slipped his paw under the crack in the cage door and pawed at it. "Come on, come on!" He muttered, but could'nt even make a tiny dip. His ears perked up when he heard a tiny dog yapping infront of him. He barked ficiously, and the dog finally shut up.

Fire didn't smile, because he smiled with his eyes. He sat down in front of her, eyeing her face before saying "I'm Fire, and I'm wanting to get out of here fast... Like anyone really." he added, his ears pricked in case someone mentioned the word fight.

"Alright you mutts!" One of the kennel men walked down the cages, "two fights are going to be happening, fools. Count your blessings if you're going to be chosen!"
