Winning means fame and fortune; losing means certain death. Will you become to victor, or die trying?

In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. Tha Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to patricipate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

Rules:

1. Don't forget that all of Tess's rules apply.

2. Tributes must be between the ages of 12 and 18.

3. Making allies is welcome at the games.

4. Usually, tributes from 1, 2, and 4 are in the career alliance, but other district member may become part of their alliance.

5. Please, try to use kind words. Is that so much to ask?

6. Please use some kind of {(([()]))} or anything else for OCC.

7. Must wait three posts before killing someone's character.

8. Make sure that the character you want to kill's roleplayer is okay with you killing their character.

9. No powerplay or godmodding, please.

District 1 makes the luxury goods that decorate and beautify our great Capitol. Its excellent taste and craftsmanship keep Capitol residents bewigged and bedazzled year-round.

Do you like seafood? Shrimp and crabmeat? Often overlooked, District 4 plays an essential role, bringing us the bounty of the sea. These citizens are adept with nets and tridents, and can swim like fish themselves.

Electric, solar, and nuclear - District 5 harnesses the energy of the earth and the sky in order to power our great nation.

The Arena:

The arena has a vast meadow on the left that flows into a beautful, but poisonous lake. The lake is formed by a large waterfall, with jagged rocks all the way down. It stretches into a dense forest, thick with wildlife. Beware of the venomous squirrels! Even father, mountains stretch. Up in the mountains, it can get to below -30 degrees, so tributes may get a severe case of frostbite. In the middle is the cornacopia, where the bloodbath takes place.
