Raven continued to fly, her wings almost sounded like a heartbeat.
Kane began to walk silently.

Rialyn leaned against a tall building, her pale eyes were looking down at the dirt and her foot was pressed against the wall. The cold wind sliced at her skin and bounced off the wall as she lifted her head slowly when a shadow creeped past her. She watched a girl, with large black wings, fly past her from above.

"hey, a person" Raven muttered, swooping in a large ark and landing near her

Back then, she would've ran away but now, Rialyn stood silently, watching her with calm eyes. Her hands slid behind her and pressed her palms against the building wall and kept her eyes on her, waiting to see what she would do.

"Hello" Raven said in a quiet voice.

She gave her a sly smile and a nod but stayed where she was. Who knew if she was a rebel? Or someone who killed without hesitation? Dying was clearly at the bottom of Rialyn's list.

"Im Raven" Raven added with a half smile, she tucked her wings in tightly.

She watched her for a brief moment before speaking up, but her voice was only a faint whisper. "I'm Rialyn."

"nice to meet you" Raven said with a half smile

She smiled back and leaned off the wall. "Are you a... rebel?" Rialyn asked quietly, her eyes lowered to the ground as she said so.
