Juliet shook her head. "That's really weird. Maybe you should ask her about it. Well, back I go. Maybe I'll see you later?" She took her time getting back to science class, knowing it would be more realistic that way.

Alaric frowned. "Unhappy to see me? What's wrong?" He leaned against a wall, arms crossed and eyes closed. "Finally my nose is done going insane. I hate nose bleeds." The teenager muttered darkly, shaking his head.

Alaric rolled his eyes. "I can't exactly blurt it out right here, so that's why you had to wait until after school, but if you really want to know, I'll tell you." Looking around to make sure no one was in sight, he ducked around a corner and pulled Rhi with him. "So have you been in any... incidents lately that could possibly take your life? Maybe a car accident, or a risky surgery?" Al asked quietly, hoping Rhi would take the hint and whisper as well. "I had cancer, as you know. I think that James kid got hit in the head or something."
