I quote it at school. Of course, only two of my friends like LOTR and Star Wars, so they are the only ones who get it. I quote it in RPs. I quote it in conversations. You know someone is awesome when they catch a reference to something in the middle of an ordinary conversation.

Theoden wrote:Where now are the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing?
Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?
Where is the harp on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing?
Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?
They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow;
The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow.
Who shall gather the smoke of the deadwood burning,
Or behold the flowing years from the Sea returning?

High School life was pretty smooth for me. I was always the weird quiet one. No one messed with me, and despite being one of the more unfit people in my PE class, I could still hold my own in a game. (Especially when the other girls squeal and cower from a ball when the guys kick it hard. I just meet it head on, that earned me some respect from the 'populars')
I love it when people quote/reference LOTR, I usually always catch them, and give the person a knowing look XD

All the girls in my class except for myself and about two other girls cower like that. I have two little brothers and I prefer to play with the boys. I also quote random video games and "geek" movies to see if people catch it.

I'm making one. I'm having a buttload of trouble trying to write my name in Elvish. Curse you, repeated I's and E's!

well, I was talking about organization. I'm always behind on assignments. my grades puzzle me, since I always seem to get straight A's! For the record, I'm weird but I'm definitely not quiet. I literally NEVER shut up! some people think I'm hyperactive because of how loud/energetic I am. and half of the time I spend talking is quoting LotR XD
I'm an adult now! don't message me about things i said when i was 12

There's this guy in my English class, and he's read and watched Lord of the Rings as well. Today we were talking about the definition of filigree because it was in our current book, and someone didn't know who it was. So the kids in my class were all asking stuff like, "What about a symbol?" "A name carved into it?" "What if you, like, write a paragraph. Is that filigree?" "Maybe flowery designs?" "What about a line of writing. Like, a phrase, or poem." That was me. And the person, he looks over at me and grins. I nodded back at him, "Yeah." This other kid sitting near us what like, "What are you talking about?" "Nothing." It was so funny! But I can't believe the person caught that reference. Other people were asking similar things too. It was perfectly normal, and if you didn't know me you wouldn't suspect anything. But he did. It was awesome.
Haha that was a long story.
