Nick looked at the door and looked at Sarah. He put his finger on his lips in a shush gesture. He put on a pair of boxers and trousers, then went to the door. He sniffed at it. "Who is it?"

"Where are the kids?" he asked, being cautious.

"Open up it is very important"

Nick opened the door and saw Nathan. "Come on in."

Nick shut the door and pulled up a chair. "Please, sit down" he said and sat on the bed. "What is it?"

Sarah had fallen asleep.
"Nicholas, to start out with vampires are searching all over for you."

"I thought I could smell something nasty" he growled. "What for? Why do they want me?"
